All guests in PACIFICO have access to this beautiful facility. To use Pacifico Beach Club, guests pay $35 per person, per day. The Beach Club will credit $25 to your food & beverage "tab" for the day, and the remaining $10 is the cost to use the facility. Guests under 12 are not charged. The Beach Club provides pool towels, and complimentary shuttle service between the development and the Beach Club. Guests have full access to the beach chairs, lounge areas and umbrellas. Cabanas are by reservation only and an extra fee applies. Renters are not permitted to reserve cabanas in advance but can inquire at the Pacifico Beach Club reception about availability and cost. And this was probably the first rental of the season. Still, the raccoons had been in the pool and left presents in it that might have been noticed in a pre-visit inspection. This required a maintenance call out that was swift. The back patio, pillars, stairs and deck were stained with algae and dirt which took away from the architecture. They would benefit from a good cleaning as would the windows and sills. The interior was very dark and needed illumination at all times - this may have been exacerbated by the foul, dark weather. Doors did not close, fans were temperamental, some lights were burnt out, a burner on the stove would not ignite and an air conditioner required two call outs for repair. The furniture and finishings are dated and would benefit from a refresh. Still, we managed to have a wonderful holiday with the family and especially enjoyed the pool - even in the torrential rain. ##### Jim P.
