Although it was just two of us, I can see how this home would work well for a family. Others mentioned having issues with the TV but we had no problems. Charlie had recently installed a new one. The weather here was beautiful in November with pleasant temperatures. Kitty preferred to spend time outside in lanai so I ended up putting her litter box out there during the day. Since she is 4 pawed declawed I didn’t have to worry about her scratching/damaging the screens. The location of the house makes it convenient to the beaches, shopping and whatever else you might want to do in the Venice area. I would definitely recommend Charlie’s home. ##### Joan S. There was quite a bit of traffic but that didn't bother us. It met all our needs. Charlie was great and we texted several times during the week making sure we were comfortable and getting to know each other. Our 2 dogs were so happy and loved the lanai. We would have spent more time out there if it wouldn't have been so hot. The house manager, Karen, was great too and lives locally. We only had about 10 days and it rained every morning so we didn't get to go to the private beach. I would have rented it again for our winter extended stay but it is already reserved. My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and had an amazing time. The house is very spacious and in a great location, with lots of wildlife from the forested lot next door.
