Hotel is quite old, and lamp in the room washroom was flickering during the second day of stay. In addition, hotel staff was not able to make arrangement for the airport taxi in the next early morning (4am) with 24 hours ahead of schedule as being confirmed earlier, and never informed us earlier so that we can think of any other ways, leaving anxiety in us. Luckily, there was a taxi managed to be called to pick us up 3 hours before our departure. Please do not simply give a rest-assurance to get a confirmed taxi when it is not possible, this may cause confusion and anxiety.

definitely an older hotel. the hotel itself was HUGE with many entrances, kind of confusing on where the reception is as there weren’t any signs. staff know english so very easy check in/out. the room is also old. LARGE, compared to the usual rooms in japan. more western for sure. old outlets, lamps, buttons everything else but they do work. when you first come in it is stuffy but make sure to put the ac on! hint of a dusty smell but it doesn’t really bother you. nice view of the city (well if you’re on the right side in my case). you’d notice some stains, very faint. not in the hot spots in the city but close enough if you don’t mind a walk! very decent if you’d just want the basics!

Great staff. Great hotel, big room, outstanding view, but getting outdated feature-wise. Could use separate toilet and bath rooms. Be nice to have an onsite onsen. Access to a microwave. Did enjoy the afternoon coffee area, but some additional food choices would have been nice.

If you do not tell them on your vip access, they would never know. Even you show it on the phone, only free parking would be offered. Front lady was rude and unfriendly. Room was very spacious but old dated and need your own usb. And prepare for total blackouts (longest one for few minutes) without notice and with no weather issues?! This was my 2nd time and Very disappointed. I got late checkout after 10-15 minutes of vip access definition.

A very large hotel with large, comfortable rooms. The hotel itself is about a fifteen-minute walk to the entertainment / restaurant areas of Sapporo. Easy parking in the garage below the hotel. One can catch a limousine bus to Chitose Airport from the hotel for 1,100 yen. Certainly, I will consider staying here again on my next visit to Sapporo.

Absolutely terrible hotel. Room had no AC, and was set to 85F, smelled like cigarette smoke, and staff didn't offer us extra bedding despite having three people. Staff was incredibly rude, and we ended up leaving the same night we came. I don't know what this place's issue is, but don't bother booking here.

Very good service
My room was spacious and our breakfast were very good with seating in a sky high cafe. Concierge, a Lady, was so nice and gave us promptly help to us with out our word, only she was seeing our blocks of luggage. Really it's great service.

A basic hotel without frills
This was a two night stay. Although the picture of the lobby makes it appear modern, it is a very old hotel. The rooms were very basic and outdated even though it was a deluxe room with a view. The bed was very hard and basic as well. The breakfast with the room was mediocre, with no highlights. We chose to stay here because the other hotels we preferred were sold out. Taxi service at this hotel also required at least a 15 minute wait for the bell to call for a taxi.

Property is very good. Hotel staff also are kind and friendly. But I am disappointed because Expedia is not professional when make room booking. Our payment for hotel room is for 2 adults and 3 children (9 years old, 6 years old, and infant 1 years old) and all with breakfast. But expedia sent information to the hotel with details 2 adult and 3 infant, that's way the hotel only give me 3 breakfast coupons. After I discussed with hotel staff, I got 1 more coupon. Thank you Royton Hotel. And for expedia is very bad.

It looks like a Westin on the outside but a motel 6 on the inside. We were given a room that included a pull out couch as a bed. The service to help correct the problem was great but we still had to buy another room. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a great night sleep.

Nice spacious hotel
Nice clean american size hotel room. Only saw a smoking room available when we booked (I am a non-smoker) and it was very noticeable. Lobby also had what seemed like an intentional fragrance I found disagreeable. Otherwise very clean, spacious, centrally located and close to subway transit. Large building can be identified from far away when walking.

Terrible WiFi
Breakfast buffet has deteriorated and is now just average compared to other nearby hotels. WiFi is absolutely terrible, very slow, and unreliable. Hotel is nice and staff are friendly, but it needs to work on the basics.

Reasonably priced hotel, though a bit of a walk from Sapporo station. Within a 15-20 min walk to most of the attractions though in Sapporo. Hotel was slightly dated but clean, staff were friendly.

The room was so stuffy and warm. They said it takes one hour for air cond to cool the room. Whole day and night also the room warm. At 18’c the thermostat. Felt like 28’c!
