Luxury away from the crowds

This was the perfect end to our Greek island hopping holiday. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and we couldn’t recommend the hotel enough. The room with its sea view was spacious and comfortable, the pool and pool bar were glorious and the staff friendly and helpful. We hope very much to be back!

This place is a MUST STAY! It was the highlight of our trip. The attention to details was excellent. The facilities are awesome and clean, the customer service is exceptional and the breakfast 👌 wow! The room was comfortable and cozy. Peaceful at night. The pool are is comfortable as well with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Theycan arrange transportation and services such as massages. Best part is after you check out you can still hangout around the property if you have a later departure time.

We had a wonderful visit and could not have been happier with the location and experience! The pool was perfect for a cool down and relaxing moments and the Kamari beach area is beautiful and easy to navigate! The staff were phenomenal in suggesting things to do and helping book them! The sea view room we had did have a sea view but it’s partially blocked with other buildings in front. The breakfast was excellent and had many variety of dishes for breakfast. The sea was literally down the hill from us which was very convenient.

Overall, the property, service and location were good. I would prefer more clarification on what's included in the cost such as steam room, sauna, massage which were not included. For improvement, i would like to have seen a kettle in the room, a bottle of water per day, a shuttle service to the airport, more customer care and and informwtion on local services like converting money.

Hotel was in a good location. Hotel was clean. Some staff were nice, not much English spoken at the hotel. Room advertised hot tub. But it wasn’t heated so I think it’s not accurately listed. One day the chlorine levels seemed high. I asked at reception and a guy came and took some flies out, I tried to speak with him but he just said yes yes and left. No checks were done as far as I could see. The sea view is mostly from the cold hot tub. The pictures don’t show you mostly look onto the back wall of the rooms in front. The safe didn’t work. I did report it and was told it would be fixed. Was still broken when we left. No of the advertised spa facilities like the steam sauna and hot tub seemed to be operational. Pool area was nice and breakfast was ok.

We stayed at Epavlis for 4 nights and had a mixed experience. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, in a fantastic area, and has many worthwhile amenities. Unfortunately the staff were unresponsive to an incident that happened when housekeeping removed our do not disturb sign and cleaned our room without permission. I have allergies to chemicals and detergents so we were very clear about not having our room cleaned (I usually wipe everything with safe cleaner and use my own pillowcases, blankets, etc) which they agreed to, but unfortunately went against. We expressed our discomfort with staff entering our room and touching our personal belongings against our wishes. They agreed to refund us for part of our stay but didn't follow through and have ghosted us in terms of providing any resolution or compensation. I think guests would expect their privacy to be respected with a 'do not enter/do not disturb' sign for a variety of reasons and would be disappointed to learn people had been in their room without permission. Additionally, the private pools with the more expensive rooms are not advertised accurately, as they are not on a private patio and anyone can get to them. We were unable to use ours due to how dirty it was.
