"Matteus was an excellent concierge for all our tour and transport needs! He is one of two English-speaking persons in Santo Amaro. Surprisingly, most people did not speak Spanish either, so Matteus was especially important (and patient) at all hours for our needs. The hotel is very basic, as are all of the in-town options. The breakfast is very good, with all the options we needed. The location on the river is quiet and lovely, with swimming and kayak rental right from the property. "

"Overall, the place was great. The staff was really humble and helpful; the general amenities were good and spacious; there’s a pool and breakfast buffet. The place is close to the main town but you’ll either need a car or find transportation. There is transportation available though (from the local services…).
