"Cons & Pros: We originally reserved at the Pension next door that is associated with the hotel, however the two-bed room we reserved wasn’t available to us and they wouldn’t let us cancel the reservation. When we arrived, they offered a two-bed room in the hotel at an extra price. I was pretty miffed and it didn’t seem very hospitable at all to hold us to the reservation when the room wasn’t even available! The kindness and helpfulness of the front desk staff woman (didn’t get her name)...

"It was not a hotel, it was an apartment. There was no reception so we had to figure out who to call when we got there then had to wait 15 minutes for her to arrive. The location is wrong on the hotels.com map and the address is incorrect on the confirmation email. We eventually found it by putting the name into Google maps which is not what you want after already having walked 25km on the Camino trail (ironically the property is directly on the Camino trail). "This was a weird set up. Once I got into my room, I was pleased, but the check in process was confusing and frustrating. I think they should post instructions on the site before you book, and if you do book, send the check in instructions beforehand so you don’t have to rely on other travelers to let you in. "

"Great modern apartment. Bed is two singles put together, and if you go to the middle it creaks. There’s too much light in the apartment when lights are switched off, from sensors and sockets. I like a room completely dark so struggled to sleep on my first night because of the light coming from the sockets and ceiling. Helpful host who’s just a message/call seay. "
