The Space: The property has a laid-back feel and is equipped with all the amenities you will need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Filled with souvenirs from our trips around the world - over 80 countries and counting! Take in the gorgeous views of the hills through the windows in the family room. Binge-watch your favorite shows in the family room using the TV. It is hooked up on Roku with Amazon Prime, as well as Netflix. Our full kitchen has everything you need for preparing scrumptious meals for the whole family. We also have a fully automatic espresso maker & cappuccino maker for the coffee lovers in your group. There is an Automatic motion-sensing tap and a batch feed garbage disposal that only works when the magnetic stopper is used, very safe. We have a beautiful 5-burner Wolf range and a new double-convection oven. The Wolf range has a separate simmer ring for every burner. The house has five bedrooms perfect for large groups and extended families. The first three bedrooms have a queen-sized bed and the other two bedrooms each have a single bed. Three available bathrooms make it very ideal for everyone. For those times you do need to sadly get a little work in, we have reliable high-speed internet and an office with a monitor and laser printer setup. ADDITIONAL AMENITIES A newly added Xbox 360, PacMan arcade machine, a huge library of kids books, board games and toys for young ones! Big back deck with natural gas barbecue, lots of yard to play in. The private yard has a jungle gym, and a "roller coaster" to tire out your kids while you relax in our hammock or on our swing. Please make sure that kids are supervised at all times! The back deck has a natural gas BBQ and plenty of space for outdoor dining or sipping that glass of wine while you enjoy the views of the surrounding hills. No need to worry about power outages at our home - we've got full power backup with 2 Tesla Powerwalls. Speaking of Tesla, if you need to recharge, we have a 220 outlet in the garage, please reach out to us to get access. We now have a J1772 charging cord coiled up in front of the garage door compatible with all electric cars. Free EV charging for guests! We also have a landline that can be used to call in case of emergencies Maximum number of allowed short term renters: 8 Number of allowed daytime guests: 5 Minimum off-street parking required: 5 parking space(s). One on-street parking space may count toward the minimum requirement, where legal on-street parking is available. No Outdoor Amplified Sound QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm -8am PERMIT NUMBER: SVR24-105 The Neighborhood: Our favorite winery is En Garde Winery — just 15 minutes down Highway 12 and rated 96 points from Robert Parker. Other favorites in the Sonoma Valley are St Anne's and Arrowood. For a restaurant, you can't go wrong with Ca'bianca, beautiful outdoor Italian dining in a picturesque garden belonging to an 1800s house right downtown. Very delicious. For the best coffee and yummy pastries, head to Acre Coffee in Montgomery Village (or their Sebastopol or Petaluma locations). Their mocha is one of our not so guilty pleasures! Getting Around: A grocery store and good restaurants are just a short pleasant walk away! The nearest winery is only 10-minute drive away. A quick drive to the heart of Santa Rosa and all of it’s bars, restaurants, and entertainment, all this while being under an hour from the ocean. Other Things to Note: Well-behaved pets are allowed with a $500 deposit (paid upfront) Please note that we have cameras facing the street at the front door, and a camera pointed at the garbage cans in the side yard. The house was very spacious and accommodating. We did some cooking in the well-equipped kitchen and utilized the gas bbq on the deck. The neighborhood was very quiet and excellent for walking. Shopping was nearby. The children really enjoyed the play area in back yard and all the books/toys located throughout the house. Only reason for not getting a "5" in Cleanliness was that the house does have an issue with sugar ants. The house was super clean and the three full bathrooms worked well for the three couples. Great house for a wine trip to Sonoma. Aug 13, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Great house, fabulous views The house was the perfect amount of space for our group of 7\. We thoroughly enjoyed the breathtaking views of the mountain/valley while seated on the deck for meals. Quiet, safe neighborhood, great for early morning walk/run, close to grocery/coffee/gas. We all enjoyed a little Pac-Man competition as we grew up playing it, but admittedly with rusty skills. It was further from our planned wineries in Napa and Sonoma than I would have preferred, but we made it work and it was certainly not their fault. On a map the mileage isn’t far, but the windy roads make for a long trip and a DD if not hiring a driver/tour. We enjoyed Santa Rosa too though, which was an unexpected bonus. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the home for our family as we were hosting a memorial golf tournament close by. The house was lovely with a beautiful view. The coffee maker didn't seem to work but not that big of a deal. It was made clear there were not to be any parties and we complied. However my 5 year old grandson and his friend were playing Hide and Seek around 8:00\. An adult was supervising. Out of no where a neighbor started shouting "Shut the F Up" over and over. They came in the house very upset. It was so loud I heard it in the house. So I guess I would recommend the house if you never went outside to do anything. Aug 13, 2024 Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy Disliked: Cleanliness, communication #### Could be nice if better maintained This is a nice home in a beautiful neighborhood but the home needs to be better maintained. We noticed a few ants in the kitchen the first couple days, then about 25 on the third day. We contacted the property manager on that day (Friday) and never heard from them until after we checked out on Monday. We put out ant traps, which of course drew even more into the home, so we had a couple hundred ants in the house Saturday morning. Between Raid and the traps, we were able to be rid of ants by Sunday morning. The kitchen sink runs on a sensor, which wasn't working properly. Initially it would only let the water run a second or two and then turn off. Beginning day 3, it wouldn't shut off, so I had to turn off the water valve under the sink. While there, I noticed that the water filter hadn't been changed since August of 2019\. That's indicative of the attention to maintenance throughout the home. The master bathroom shower wouldn't get above lukewarm, likely due to a faulty valve. Carpet is worn, many plumbing fixtures are loose, etc. No communication from management to fix any of the issues we raised. House could be nice, just needs some work. ##### Joe F. The common areas are large yet warm and comfortable. The kitchen could not be better equipped to make dinner at home and breakfast with the sun coming up in the morning (while we were still on East Coast time). House is in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Easy parking and entry. Nice inside and comfortable house. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of space for all. Kinda strange only having one TV but we weren't there for fun so didn't really matter. A/C thankfully worked because it was in a 115 degree heat wave. The property manager was great to communicate and asked if we got in ok. Informed us that we didn't need to worry about rolling blackouts because of the smart solar. Very pleasant experience. House was stocked with everything you needed. Owners have gone out of their way to make sure you were comfortable. Grocery store was a mile or two away. Downtown Santa Rosa was a 10 minute drive but Ubers were easy to get. House is in a nice neighborhood and quiet. Tons of wineries close by and trips into Healdsburg, Sonoma and Napa were easy if you have a car. Great place. Thanks ##### Jim R.
