The house was in a nice proximity to the beach. A .54 mile walk. We enjoyed the private beach access. You do have to pay per day to have the pool heated, which I did not realize. So up until that point the pool was like an iceberg. I’m sure it warms up more as the summer goes on, however. The house met our needs, it was nothing fancy, bare bones, but it was comfortable. There were plenty of towels, which was good. The kitchen did not have much in it to work with per se. Very few utensils and there was definitely no spices left in the cabinets. And pots and pans were not in the best condition and a lot of of them needed to be washed before using. So definitely something to keep in mind if you are coming with the intention of doing cooking. House could really use a good deep cleaning, baseboards were very dirty, especially in the bathrooms, and the bathroom floors had a lot of sand and grit on them. Also, the coffee pot is definitely not in good shape. I had to brew my pot several times in order to make it drinkable. There are no board games or anything like that in the house either so if you want indoor entertainment with your family, be sure and bring those items along! Host was very easy to communicate with, however and I definitely appreciated that.
