The streets radiating from the park, such as Calle 19 and Carrera 3, are where many of the best hotels and eateries are located.

For couples, this central area is ideal. You're perfectly positioned for romantic dinners, leisurely strolls through the historic district, and easy access to the marina for boat trips to nearby beaches like Playa Blanca. The convenience of having everything on your doorstep allows for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Solo travellers will also find the city centre very accommodating. Its central location makes it easy to meet other travellers, join organised tours, or simply explore the city's attractions independently.

During these months, you'll experience clear skies and comfortable temperatures, superb for enjoying the beaches and outdoor activities. It's also the peak tourist season, so you'll find everything fully operational, from tours to restaurants.

For travellers looking for a quieter experience while still enjoying pleasant weather, the shoulder months of May and November can be a good option. While there might be occasional showers, they are usually brief, and you'll benefit from fewer crowds and potentially better value on accommodation.
