Loved by locals and dog owners alike, this beach offers a laid-back vibe away from the crowds of Main Beach.



    Other Things to Note:

    This is a duplex. The driveway, laundry and one wall are shared.

    We would be happy for your dog to join. We ask for a $100 pet fee and also require that pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture. However, we understand that some dogs enjoy co-sleeping. If your pup falls into this category, please bring a blanket for them to lay on because pet hair and odor require extra cleaning that's not covered by the pet fee or cleaning fee. I appreciate your understanding.

This is managed very poorly by a property management company. The listing says pets allowed with prior approval. It doesn’t say anything about a pet fee. The day before check in I was asked to sign a rental agreement for the management company that stated there were no pets allowed, clearly not applicable to this listing. There were no instructions on how to get said “prior approval”. When trying to get the check in instructions, I was then told I needed to Venmo a specific individual for the pet fee. Not only was this sketchy to Venmo an individual when I knew this was managed by a management company but it felt scammy bc there was no written documentation of the payment anywhere.Additionally, this place had cameras on all the entrances and exits which were not disclosed. I felt watched. Aside from those two things (and the steep cleaning fees with strict cleaning instructions for check out), the place is in an adorable, walkable neighborhood. It was clean, cute and comfortable. All the small things were thought of.

Cute property but my complaints were, the listing stated a dishwasher and check out instructions mentioned to load dishwasher before leaving but no dishwasher to be found. I notified the host(Janiece, she was prompt and nice otherwise) she aplogized and asked us to wash our own dishes prior to leaving. I did it as a curtesy but I was not happy with that and was asked to load the towels in the washer prior to leaving. Why am i paying a cleaning fee if i have to clean up after myself? I don't mind loading a dishwasher or piling the towels in one spot for cleaners to handle but asking for us to do these things I didnt think was right. Also, the laundry room was reached by going out the front door, then down stairs to reach the garage through a separate locked entrance, then you would find the laundry machines which i thought wasnt convenient. Also, the shower pressure needs to be stronger and the mattresses were too soft. This is feedback for future renters and not a complaint. It is a cute little place in a good location. Walkable to a nearby toddler park and dog park and walkable to the boardwalk depending on how much stuff you have because theres an elevation change there but totally doable. Walked my dogs to the bridge that leads to the boardwalk and came back was about 1 mile ish. I booked this location because it appears clean and there was a cute set of toys for my baby to play with which is what truly won me over. Would i stay there again? Yes i suppose.
