1. NOMADIC MOUNTY SATHRAM

NOMADIC MOUNTY SATHRAM
2.5 star property
10.3 km from Sannidhanam
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1 review)
"This is a newly built camping style place. The rooms are nice for the outdoor location. Working ceiling fans, sliding glass doors. I spent some time with one of the owners who has great English and is a great guy. It’s really a great location to make as a home camp to take safari jeeps from, which the site can easily order for you. They also can arrange walking trips through the wild park with a park ranger. Great group of people running this place!!"

"The front desk staff was good, the breakfast was excellent and tasty. Two issued I had was there was another group that was playing loud music near us and it was bothering us as we were trying to put the kids to sleep. We also had a issues where the staff was suppose to deliver a case of water we brought and they delivered it to the wrong room. They replaced it with a case but just two small issues. Overall good experience and would stay again if going through the area. "

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Sannidhanam?
The best time to visit Sannidhanam is during the Mandala-Makaravilakku season, which typically runs from mid-November to mid-January.

This period is considered the most auspicious for pilgrimage to the Sabarimala Ayyappan Temple, which is the primary reason people visit Sannidhanam. The weather during these months is generally cooler and more comfortable for the trek up the hill, with temperatures ranging from 20°C to 30°C. Pilgrims will find the temple's rituals and ceremonies at their most active and vibrant during this time.

For pilgrims who prefer a less crowded experience, the temple also opens for five days each Malayalam month. These short windows, outside of the main pilgrimage season, offer a more serene environment for worship and reflection.
Can I cancel my hotel reservation on Expedia?
Many Expedia hotel reservations are refundable, provided that you cancel before the hotel's cancellation deadline – this is often within 24-48 hours of your scheduled arrival. If you have a non-refundable booking, it might still be possible to receive a refund if you cancel it within 24 hours of booking. Be sure to check your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation policy. For maximum flexibility, use our "Fully refundable property" filter during your search to find the right Sannidhanam hotel for you.
How much is the nightly rate at a Sannidhanam hotel?
Hotel prices in Sannidhanam often vary, but you can find a great deal on Expedia. Different factors affect nightly hotel rates, such as the time of year or the days of the week you want to book. To find the best deals for your stay, be flexible with your dates, and sort search results by "Price: low to high" for our cheapest rates.
