The pool was clean and warm; garage was a nice asset and we had everything we needed including beach chairs & towels. The only big negative is a groundwater run off pipe discharging horrid rotten egg smelling water next to the lanai which permeates the lanai & spoiling the ambience, we would need to leave the lanai and go inside with doors closed. But if windows/doors open, it also permeates the living areas. Plus, at night, with bedroom windows open, the awful odor comes upstairs into the bedrooms. It's really bad and hopefully this could be corrected. We are on the fence as to whether we would rent here again because of the ongoing bad odors; maybe it can be corrected with a long run off pipe keeping the bad odors further away from the house. ##### Gregory C. We were excited to see the recovery efforts and the Sanibel friendliness all around the island. This property was perfect for our family of grandparents, adult children and two teenagers. It was clean, well stocked for kids who want to eat every two hours, and an easy walk to the beach. The only negative was the lack of welcome communication and flexibility of the Gulf Coast Vacation Rental Company. ##### Joan E.
