Possum Kingdom Lake WATERFRONT Retreat

"My husband and I stayed here with our two dogs and had a fantastic time. The nature around the property is beautiful, we even saw a coyote come down to the lake for a drink at the little bay across from the property’s beach during our ride on the paddle boat they provided. We also saw some incredible birds. The house is conveniently located near Possum Kingdom State Park where we rented kayaks at the Marina. We also spent a few days on a pontoon boat we rented and explored the lake which has stunning rock formations and areas where we saw local cows come down for a dip in the lake.Property was clean when we arrived, directions given to us by owners were clear, making our ckeck in and out very easy.Property is nicely stocked with water toys like noodles, paddle boat, and small kayaks, and various other flotation toys which made the trip fun.Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again."

"The host was flexible and exceptional. What a quaint little community. We loved the sunsets and the deer! They were amazing.We traveled as a family of six- My husband, myself, my daughter, her husband, their two small children and a couple of chihuahuas. I loved the colors of the place and the amenities! "My family has enjoyed staying at The Retreat for several quick vacations. Every house has been clean, comfortable, roomy and fully stocked with everything we needed. The “crowning glory” of the Retreat Houses is there is access to a large beautiful pool AND a beautiful lake right across the street! A great place to make family adventures along with your dogs!We will continue to frequent The Retreat!"
