My daughter and I have stayed here twice in 2 years. Nice quaint place and very friendly owners! Comfortable accommodations. I could not figure out the cable and the owners came in to help me right away. We will definitely be back again next year.
The staff was friendly and property was clean but our room smelled like urine really bad. I possibly would stay in a smaller room in future but the big room with kitchenette was very smelly of strong urine. The staff were nice though.

Liked: Cleanliness
According to what I read, they were 11 miles away. It ended up being something like 28 miles away from the location that I was visiting. I found that the place was an older place and could have been cleaned up more. The rooms were not exactly clean. The sheets, the bad's the towels. All balls were well maintained and were comfortable. But I thought the place could use a clean job , especially at the sink in the shower
Horrible motel black mold in shower toilet seat was completly broken stains on sheets microwave hadnt been clean and who knowd how long was good in fridge when we checke r in

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
For an older property, it was very clean. The staff was very nice. Although it was a non-refundable property, we had no choice of going. we have a wedding that got canceled. It was a downer that we could not get refunded.
It was a place to get some sleep. There were cobwebs in the corners and we had to kill about a dozen mosquitos that were in the room when we first went in. The bedding appeared to be clean and the beds were somewhat comfortable. The air conditioner would not come on with the switch on the unit. I was told the next morning that it only works with the remote that we didn't know about. $91/night was too much for the conditions.
The authentic mid century modern furniture and decor was enjoyable. The parking was easy. Room was clean enough with no bugs or anything. Save your receipt because they said they can't provide duplicates. Bedding was comfortable. In room coffee was fine. I thought it was expensive for what you get but this is considered in the Cedar Point area. Was the most affordable in the area. I found it restful.
Small facility. Staff was friendly. Clean linens. Room needs deep clean (dust on all surfaces, coffee pot filthy, refrigerator dirty, paint job terrible). Needs updating, small shower cracked. Water on floor by refrigerator.
I was very disappointed with my experience. I had a reservation and planned to pay when I arrived to check in, as I have done at many hotels. However, I was told that my card had to be charged before I was even allowed to check in.
When I explained that I didn't have the funds available yet but would by the time I arrived, I asked if my reservation could simply be canceled. Instead, I was told no and was directed to contact the online booking company myself. This created a great deal of unnecessary inconvenience and stress.
In all my years of traveling, I have never been required to pay before even setting foot in my room. I understand that every hotel has its own policies, but I believe this should be made much clearer before booking. Unfortunately, the lack of flexibility and customer service left me with a very negative impression.
