"Our spacious room was located on the third floor overlooking the pool and the bay. Unlike many resorts, the room had generous closet space for both of us. We were greeted by name upon arrival, and I appreciated the upgrade. We dined at both resort restaurants and sampled the sushi at another. We enjoyed the fresh desserts and pastries at the bakery and coffee shop. We used the gym everyday and had a blast on the beach. The concierge arranged a driver and guide for a day trip to Paraty. I highly recommend it. In addition, I was able to hike along a trail in the resort that led to a waterfall. The grounds throughout are immaculately maintained. I appreciated the staff bridging my sparse Portuguese and for allowing me to practice improving my language skills. I thank the housekeepers who ensured our space was always organized and well maintained. There is a great selection of breakfast choices either in the buffet or available on the menu. The maitre d’ was welcoming and always accommodating. Barthelemy’s is a wonderful men’s apparel shop. Be sure to check it out in the resort shopping section. After three nights, I felt completely rejuvenated and ready for the next leg of our journey through Brazil."

"most things in the hotel where perfect, room, cleanliness, environment etc. my biggest problem was noise in the morning specially in the rooms facing back, they need to isolate better those windows because they let a lot of noise pass. wifi was also an issue without proper connection. finally shower would fluctuate constantly temperature with is annoying. other than that amazing experience.
