"Just book it!! This property is amazing. It’s like your own private resort. Everything is high end from lighting to the beach chairs. They have thought of everything. The pictures on the site are amazing but don’t do it justice. Our family will definitely book here again. Everyone in our group loved staying in this house."

"As a rewards member, I expected more. While the room was OK, the shower had terrible water pressure, and I had the shower on FULL HOT, and it was Luke-warm. The next day we made the mistake of having the breakfast. We were there around 8:15 am, which is effectively the middle of service. The selection was poor to begin with, but what was left made it a big miss. The hot food was only warm. The oatmeal was empty and the grits (instant at that) was also gone. When we asked, Lou said, we had 45 Marines here and they wiped it out and we decided not to make more. Really? There was still 90 minutes left AND at 8:15 there was no evidence that they were there, so they must have left a while BEFORE 8:15 AM. I scrapped together what was left and when I went to get coffee....you guessed it, the coffee was empty. I doubt I will hear back or get any remedy, but I wanted to let you know what a disappointment this property was."

Private Coastal Retreat with Channel Views and 3 minutes to the BEACH!

"Excellent private accomodstions, with absolutely anything you need for a week at a beautiful beach. I especially liked the kitchen with all the amenities needed by an amateur chef, like myself. The gas range was exceptional and high end Emeril cookware made cooking a joy! The unit was clean and had anything one needs for the beach available, including use of a golf cart. The neighborhood was quiet with a lovely view of the waterway right out your front door. 3 minutes by cart to the beach access, but a pretty long walk to the water, so I would suggest packing light and/or take advantage of a set up service. Once on the beach, the view is spectacular and when we were there, there were very few people on the wide expansive sand. It is one of the nicest beaches I've experienced, and I've seen them all in NC, SC, and VA. This was our first trip to Emerald Isle, but it will not be our last. Simply awesome vacation and I highly recommend Tailz Down for an amazingly comfortable stay in Emerald Isle. The owner's communication was excellent, and it was a pleasure to meet them and enjoy their hospitality. Everything was above par!!!"

Classy vacay stay at Swansboro

"We had a good experience at this condo. It was very much as described on VRBO. Clean, convenient, fairly well equipped. Most of the experience was positive, but a couple of things need to be addressed. We didn't get check-in information until we were well on our way to Swansboro, and only after I asked for the information. The bedroom does not have a dresser; hanging clothes can go in the closet but there's no place for folding clothes. We lived out of our suitcases all week. The front blinds both are defective and need to be replaced. There were loud dogs next door, but I don't know if they are owned by residents or visitors. But these are small things, all in all we had a good experience at a fair price."
