He gave us all kinds of insight into where to go and what to do. He provided very good restaurant recommendations. He checked on us frequently to make sure we were OK and to ask if we needed anything. We did not need anything .The apartment had everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay. The bathroom and kitchen were well equipped and worked perfectly. The bedrooms and living room were comfortable and very nicely decorated. It had a small balcony that overlooks a street in the old city, that was constantly busy during the day with locals and tourists, yet surprisingly quiet at night. From the balcony you could also see the Paradore/castle and the square in front of it, which was always bustling. Despite all these great features the location is the best feature. You are living like a local in the old city, but 10 minutes walk (and we are in our 70's) and you are in the newer, restaurant, shopping district and at the ferry to the beach in France.
