« This hotel is badly in need of maintenance and perhaps new management. The stairway carpets looked as though they had not been cleaned for weeks and must have been over 10 years old. Breakfast was in a room by the lobby and did not vary for the almost 4 weeks we were there. « Host very responsive to concerns. Provided advance guidance re bringing an extra blanket and creamer for coffee. Insufficient sugar but all other amenities excellent. Comfortably furnished with multiple kitchen appliances, dishware, and place settings in a delightful well designed wood paneled cabin with windows on all 4 sides, considerable nicer than those at Madera Canyon. »

« We loved our stay here. The cabin is so cute and cozy, the communication with the hosts is seamless, and of course the views and weather was incredible. Can’t beat it only being an hour from Tucson. We had a small hiccup with the shower not draining, but my husband was able to fix it and the hosts were responsive, helpful, and also gave us a 25 credit to the general store for the inconvenience! What a nice surprise! We will definitely return. »
