The Space: Wave Front Escape, situated in the lively Condado district, offers a modern retreat with a chic Caribbean urban flair. This thoughtfully designed space features a separate living area and a dedicated workstation for both leisure and productivity. Just a short walk from the beach, indulge in water sports, explore nearby restaurants, and stroll along San Juan's premier scenic walking and running trail. Ideal for a stylish, relaxing escape, Wave Front Escape accommodates up to two guests comfortably in a king bed. IMPORTANT NOTES: CONNECTING DOORS: Please note that this unit shares a connecting door with an adjacent unit. Just like a hotel room, there is a double door that locks from both sides. CHECK-IN PROCESS AND PICTURE ID: Please note that this building's administration requires guests to check-in with the front desk each time they enter the building as well as provide a picture ID. We ask all guests to please cooperate with and comply with the building's rules and employees. The full, recently renovated bathroom boasts a double sink and a modern, full-size shower, adding a touch of luxury to your stay. For added convenience, a full-length mirror is included within the unit. The apartment features a convenient setup for light meal preparation, including a hotel-size fridge, full-size microwave, and a coffee maker with complimentary coffee. It also features a standing-room-only balcony. PLEASE NOTE: BOTH A/C CONDENSERS ARE LOCATED ON THE BALCONY, THEREFORE THE STANDING ROOM IS VERY LIMITED. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS Upon entering the bedroom, you'll be greeted by impressive views of the Atlantic Ocean and Condado Lagoon. Wave Front Escape offers breathtaking vistas, whether day or night. The studio features a king bed, comfortably accommodating up to two adults, with fresh bed linens and towels provided for each stay. For added comfort, effective blackout curtains allow for restful sleep. A full-size closet is also available for storing clothing and luggage. PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY): We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability. RENTING A CAR VS. USING UBER We recommend moving around via Uber if staying within the general San Juan area. Another fun option is to rent electric scooters, which are on every street corner. Note that you will need to use hourly parking if you rent a car. LOCATION This apartment is located in Condado Lagoon Villas in San Juan, Puerto Rico. From Condado Lagoon Villas, you will be within walking distance of many dining options and three separate beaches. All of the exciting activities of the San Juan area are a short Uber ride away. This is one of the best urban locations in the entire Caribbean. Explore the three separate beaches within walking distance. We provide beach chairs and a small cooler to do so. You have La Playa del Perro, El Escambrón, and La Playa de La Laguna, all within an approximate 10-minute stroll away. Walk or jog the walking trail from Condado Lagoon all the way to Old San Juan. This is a 2-mile adventure with a spectacular view of the Atlantic and delicious places to stop for food or refreshments along the way. Try El Hamberguito for delicious burgers and Ladi's Place for local seafood with a stunning view. Lunch or dinner at La Placita de Santurce, a local market with 20+ restaurants and awesome nightlife. We love Santaella restaurant, local cuisine with a modern approach located in La Placita. Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 30-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship. There are many tour options that leave from the San Juan area. Chill at the pool and jacuzzi! This apartment includes access to the Condado Lagoon pool and jacuzzi.
