The Space: Condado Beach Oasis is a cozy 2 bedroom apartment located in the heart of Condado. The apartment has been remodeled from top to bottom and includes completely brand-new furnishings. It feature a modern kitchen, a full sleek bathroom, 4 person dining table, washer and dryer, and air conditioning in both bedrooms and living room. The building entrance is located on Magdalena Ave. in Condado, one of the most prestigious areas in Puerto Rico, near hotels, amazing restaurants, bars, shopping centers, boutiques, and, best of all, blocks away from the beach. IMPORTANT NOTE: As of 4/12/2024, this unit no longer has a dishwasher. LIVING AREAS Once you enter the apartment, guests will notice the top to bottom sleek finishes, LED lighting, and comfortable and beautiful decor. There is a drop-leaf expandable table that sits four when its panels are down and five to six when they're fully extended. The living area features a comfortable leather sofa, AC, and a 72" inch flat-screen TV. KITCHEN Condado Beach Oasis has a top-notch kitchen! The minimalist L-shaped kitchen features PVC white cabinets, quartz countertops, wood-like vinyl panels, and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is stocked for all your cooking needs, it has a state-of-the-art full fridge, conventional microwave oven, toaster, and coffee maker. The washer and dryer are located in the kitchen area. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS Condado Beach Oasis has two bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a Queen Size bed, closet, and drawer. The second bedroom also has a queen-size bed, closet, and drawer. Both bedrooms share a full-size spacious modern bathroom. The bathroom is fully equipped with amenities, a full-size closet, and 5-star resort-quality towels. All bedrooms have full A/C. PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY): We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability. GETTING AROUND We recommend moving around via Uber if staying within the general San Juan area. This building does not have parking. If you rent a car, please remember that this building does NOT have parking. LOCATION Condado Beach Oasis is located in Condado, Puerto Rico. This is considered a prime location in San Juan. From Condado Beach Oasis, you are a 3-minute walk away from the sand, and within walking distance of some of the best dining options, Puerto Rico offers. Forget the rental car because from here you can walk or Uber to everything! The apartment is approx. Ten minutes from the airport, restaurants, parks, supermarkets, pharmacies, and shops are all within walking distance. There are many things to do in the surrounding areas; here are some of our favorites: 1\. Chill at the beach! It is one of our favorite beaches in Puerto Rico and a must-do if you stay at Condado Beach Oasis. The apartment has beach chairs, towels, and coolers for a long day at the beach. 2\. Lunch or dinner at La Placita de Santurce, a local market with 20+ restaurants and awesome nightlife. We love Santaella restaurant, which offers local cuisine with a modern approach and is in La Placita. 3\. Explore Calle Loiza, which is blocks from the apartment. This up-and-coming hip street is littered with funky dining and shopping options. Start with a margarita at Acapulco and head down the strip stopping at Sabrina or Azucena for sophisticated Puerto Rican food. 4\. Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 40-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship. We can help coordinate tours to this destination. 5\. Spend a day in Old San Juan. Condado Beach Oasis is a 10 min Uber ride from the oldest city in the US. There is a lot of history to be seen and great food, drinks, and shopping to enjoy! Other Things to Note: STARTER AMENITIES At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay. All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach towel per guest. We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include: \- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom) \- 3 garbage bags \- 1 roll of paper towels \- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom) \- 1 dish soap \- 1 dish sponge \- A small amount of laundry detergent Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay. Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation. HOUSE RULES RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed. NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated. NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property. QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors. UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 4 adults/children at all times, including visitors. OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund. TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items. TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated. SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that. If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule. If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival. Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you. TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues. Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Our teen took one room and we took the other with the infant and an air mattress. The location to Old San Juan and the airport were perfect. The building was quiet na dang neighbors who passed were friendly. Communication with the host was literally 24/7 of need be. All the local restaurants and shops were awesome. Loved that the beach was so close and there were chairs and toys so that I didn’t have to buy them for my baby or rent chairs on the beach!! Everything was really great for a first family trip to PR. So many things within walking distance and or a quick Uber ride. The AC was definitely great. We appreciated the fact that they provided beach gear (towels and chairs) in the closets. The apartment had everything that we needed and is in such a great location, one block off of a street with endless bars and restaurants and 2 blocks off the beach (rent your chairs and umbrellas from Oscar and grab a fruity beverage for the beach from the Oasis bar). It’s also only a 15-20 min Uber to old San Juan with countless restaurants and shops and beautiful architecture. The apartment itself was clean and well equipped. There was an issue with the hot water and dishwasher during our stay but Karen was responsive to my emails and they did what they could while we were there. About a 7 min walk to everything. No scenery really. Host was slow to respond. While secure, the check in was rough and included a bunch of key entries. The bathroom does not seem to be ventilated and shower drain was a hot mess. Water just ends up everywhere. The sheets need to be replaced. There was a large yellow stain on my sheets. Mar 17, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy Disliked: Check-in, communication #### Good but communication lacked Due to a last minute change of plans in travel I arrived in San Juan earlier than previously anticipated and messaged the host about the possibility of being able to check in early. I got 0 responses despite messaging her through the vrbo app and texting the number provided in earlier messages. Once checking in at the original time I put my bags down and went to the store to get some food for the trip. Within 5 minutes of arriving at the store I got a call from the host saying I needed to come back as the cleaners had not finished prepping the house yet. So while the rest of our stay was wonderful the lack of communication and the inability to have the house ready at the set time made this a 3/5 stay. ##### Colby E.
