I loved my stay! Very clean, Manny was waiting for me. Nilsa is really responsive. You’re right near a strip of restaurants! Beach right around the corner! We had everything we needed. We did dine out a lot- so I didn’t use the kitchen much. Even the halls smelled amazing. I loved my stay! This is the one. Do it :)

Overall an adequate place to stay for a few days; smaller than expected but good accommodation and very clean. Check in a breeze. Wish we were able to get tv other than streaming (bring your passwords). Great beach within short walk, good locations for stores and restaurants.

BED BUGS alert! It says here: newly remodeled, walk to the beach! We thought it was perfect so we booked this place for 3 nights.Well newly remodeled must have been quite a time ago!  After we got bug bites, we took off the top sheet of the bed. And were shocked, BED BUGS and a very run-down mattress! We did inform the Manager/Owner Nilsa Perez. She told us she would replace the mattress and deep clean the apt. Well if I were you, I would check about that before I book. We did try to find another place for one night, but as it was Friday, we couldn't find something else close by. So we had no other option than to sleep on the sofa. It also says 3 min walk to the beach.This place has no Beach access!The place bysite (ESJ Towers) will not let you walk down to the beach on their property. You have to walk on the busy main road down to the road with public beach access.It's about a 15 min walk with all your beach stuff. One day we had no water!Last day of our stay, we had no Internet, which is very annoying when you try to make travel arrangements.For two days only one elevator worked, it was a pain to go up and down, it took a long time to get an elevator and it was crowded. We traveled for 14 Days throughout beautiful Puerto Rico and this is the only place we would NOT go back. On the advertised pictures it shows a picture of The San Juan Hotel and says property grounds. This is not at that San Juan Hotel place. Miss leading picture.The Saint Tropez building is a run-down prop.

Overall: Not a great stay. Cons: - The description of the property says it is newly remodeled and it is NOT AT ALL. There’s tape on the walls, stains on the floor and walls, the shower grout is dirty, cabinet fixtures are broken, the bathroom sink drains super slow, and the dining table is wobbly. The pictures of the listing are not accurate. Everything looks fresh and new when in all actuality, most things are not the same, to include the furniture -There wasn’t hot water the entire time I was there. I was able to shower with the tepid water, but my friend could not. The water temp was colder than room temp. -The shower wasn’t done properly for the water to drain appropriately, so sand sits. -I called Expedia/Vrbo to and it known that the listing was inaccurate. I also let Nilsa know but she didn’t seem to care because she did not respond. -We were supposed to be there 3 nights. We were given a refund for the last night because we just couldn’t take the hot water issue anymore. The pros: -It’s a decent area with food, casinos, and a close walk to the beach (which is why I think others rate it so high) -The chairs and towels for the beach were good

We absolutely loved the location in Carolina, it was short walking distance to so many things, including Isla Verde beach (we could stay at that beach all day)! Also short Uber ride to other places. So definitely loved the location. As far as the actual unit, we weren’t sure what they meant by upgraded, it wasn’t upgraded and we were actually super disappointed upon entering the first night. Also it’s not the same hard chairs that is shown in the picture, which would be easy to disinfect and wipe down so we didn’t sit in the chairs and the couch was very old and stained, also not the one from the pictures, so we had to go to Walmart and get an expensive couch cover and lots of sheets and did not let it out into a sofa, just slept on it as a couch. We also made sure to get plenty of Lysol. Needless to say we tried to only be in the unit to shower and sleep, we were a bit uncomfortable. The shower the water is cold, but we were told by other residents that, that is how the whole building is. The host did provide lots of clean towels, which we still washed before use, but we could tell they were fresh and clean already. They have shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but we purchased our own. There was cleaning products and trash bags, and also two huge rolls of toilet paper that almost lasted our whole trip! The hosts are definitely generous in providing lots of the necessities. Again GREAT location and amazing host, but definitely opportunities for improvement.

What a gem in Isla Verde. Everything is walking distance or a very cheap uber ride away. Manny is like a family relative. We had conversations like we knew each other for years. The place is perfect and modern.. The bedroom is so cozy. When we got their with Manny the place smelled amazing and very very clean. Their was a bottle of wine waiting for us and water bottles in the fridge. Quick convo with Manny. He gave us the keys and left. Loved the balcony with the great view. Love the fact their was relaxing music on both TV's when we got their... The pool felt like it was our private pool. Met some great people their. Will stay their again real soon. Amazing experience!
This was my first time using Vrbo and let me tell you the process was super easy and the host was amazing! My boyfriend and I felt at home with everything we needed and more at the condo! The neighbors are so friendly and the neighborhood is safe and fun! Mins away from the beach and some amazing food spots! Definitely would stay again :)

Overall, this is a great place to stay
The owners stay in touch with us from the moment we book. She told us who we were meeting and he was right on time. Gave us the layout of the property and met us when it was time to leave. The condo was awesome and clean. It's in a secure property and you had to scan in and out. And even though we weren't driving, They had a parking permit if we did. The amenities to me was better than a hotel. Not only did they provide towels for the room, but also beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella and coolers to go to the beach or the pool. The balcony view is beautiful if you keep an open mind. There are restaurants, grocery stores, and souvenirs shops in the area that is walking distance. Overall, this is a great place to stay and will definitely try to stay there again the next time we come down.

I took my significant other to Puerto Rico for a surprise birthday gift and the Thanksgiving holiday. We needed a last minute option and this space was great choice. It was a bit smaller than we were use to but overall the location was amazing. Close to bars, restaurants and clubs. It's centrally located with the beach in walking distance. This studio has all the things that makes a great home away from home. We will definitely nooked again!

Truly A Caribbean Paradise Vacation!
This condo is appropriately named a Caribbean Paradise! The location is absolutely incredible, being only a 7 minute walk to the most beautiful beach in San Juan. Within easy walking distance is a 24 hour large grocery store and there are many restaurants and quick food spots very close. In the condo we enjoyed having great views of the ocean, as well as picturesque views of the Isla Verde Avenue area. The condo itself is as beautiful as shown in the pictures. The bed is very comfortable and the owner provided many amenities, which were listed on the VRBO website. Although it is small, it is very well designed and my spouse and I were very comfortable there for a 6 week stay from mid-Jan until late Feb 2020. Nilsa, the owner/manager truly deserves her rating as a Premier Partner. She responded to all our communications very quickly and was always eager to assist us with any of our needs. We loved our time at her condo and hope to return there in the future. Mucho Gracias, Nilsa!!!

Lovely spot in Isla Verde
Nilsa’s condo is pretty ideal. Check-in was simple and the condo had what we needed for our time here. The beach chairs, cooler, umbrella and towels were awesome. The wine and water was a wonderful, welcoming touch! Nilsa’s cousin Manny was lovely; helpful and friendly. The condo is small, so it is perfect for one or two people. The bed is super comfortable! When a few issues came up, Nilsa responded immediately and Manny was here to help out right away. The only reasons for 4 and not 5 stars- very loud downstairs. There is a karaoke bar on the first floor that stays open til 6am and it certainly did! Also, the AC units have a stale odor; musty like. They were serviced the next morning but still smelled when turned on; the bedroom ac was especially yucky so I wasn’t able to use it. Also- not much to do or see “on the strip.” Otherwise, really nice spot. Close to the beach and markets are open 24 hours if you need anything!! Definitely a nice spot to stay for your vacation!

This location is walkable to many great places to eat, being next door to the ESJ Hotel is a great plus. The condo was very clean and well maintained. Easy to get in and out of the secured facility. Well appointed, and had everything you needed. If it wasn't there the CVS just down the street has everything else including a good bottle of wine, plus a larger grocery store is a few minutes walk away. Would highly recommend. Just wish it was on the water.

Nice, considering hurricane Maria.
Older property with some lingering signs of storm damage and aging. Rooms are decent with nice decor. Had everything we needed to come home to at night after working. Laundry was a bonus. Didn't have time for the pool and access to the beach was a little walk out of the way. Restaurant next door was great and a short walk to other services nearby. Airport was very close, 5 minutes with gps. Without phone navigation you can easily end up in wrong direction on interchanges. Old San Juan 15 minutes away with light traffic. Overall not 4 star but was nice for our needs at a reasonable price.

The place is just what the picture showed and what Nilsa promised. Only thing I was disappointed with was that the pool was closed. I am not too fond of the beach that's why I chose a spot with a pool. Nilsa went above and beyond to make sure the room was decorated for my boyfriends birthday at no extra cost. Will definitely recommend to anyone that wants to be near the beach.

The room was nice. It was close to the beach and many restaurants. Pros: Close to beach comfortable bed Had every thing that you need Cons: Balcony pretty small Sheets kept coming off the bed(very annoying) Only had one wash cloth(had to go buy some) The futon was broken and very uncomfortable to sit on as a couch. The a/c in the bedroom was quite noisy. One of the body towels had what appeared to have poop on it. Although it was supposed to be clean. Pool was closed it didn't have any water in it. Room is only big enough for 2 adults and maybe a child but 4 adults would be miserable. The owner was good with communicating with us and Manny her assistant was always on time. I really enjoyed my trip despite the cons listed above.

Great communication before and while we were there. The place is in an ideal location in Isla Verde. The apartment was small but very cozy. You won't be in the apartment much other than going to sleep. It is close to the beach and next door to some of the best resorts in San Juan. Nilsa and her group were great to work with and we would definitely stay again.

Nilsa and her staff were great throughout our trip. She answered questions before, during, and after our stay. The condo itself was okay but nothing to brag about. The updated modern design made it welcoming and made the most of the limited space. Some of the cheaper finishes were disappointing. The door hinges were rusted, the fridge was small, and there were stains on the couch/futon. The futon was very uncomfortable to sleep on. That said, when you come to Isla Verde you are coming for the beach and not to stay inside all day. You can walk to the beach 24/7 in minutes. For food we liked Metropol, Mi Casitas, El Alambique, & Los Chamos. Taxis are everywhere if you don't want to walk and it is a good central location for day trips.
