Old and ugly clean with good service and amenities
This old place is perfect for individuals looking for a safe, clean room at very economical prices. The rooms are really small but they all have AC and with the small room, the AC really works well. The speed of the Wi-Fi is a steady 200 megabits. Streaming and downloading is very fast and easy. Best I have seen at any motel in San Jose. Even many big expensive motels have only 10-15 megabit Wi-Fi. The motel is fairly close to downtown. It has a bar, frequented by local “comfort girls’. It’s a great place to stay for a few days and now feel ripped off.

The people that work there are friendly and great. Most of the girls that work at the bar speak English, however not everyone in the office speaks English. One of them even made me coffee Sunday morning before the kitchen staff comes in at 11:00 AM. Now for the ugly. The rooms are in desperate need of maintenance. The worst condition was black mold growing and protruding down from the ceiling right next to the A/C unit. At the time I was in room #29. Also I was the only guest in the hotel. I moved to room # 26. Most of the rooms have broken tiles on the floor. The bathroom sink cabinets are worn and the faucets are loose. The electrical outlet behind the bed was broken in half. All the rooms have a mini fridge, HD TV and A/C.

Perfect place to stay for a single man!
The rooms upstairs were amazingly clean. Downstairs is a bar to party & meet local girls. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Just a short walk to the main shopping street. Good value for money!

The Hotel CR Lounge by Little Havana is what it is. It's an inexpensive hotel for people who aren't going to spend a whole lot of time in their room except to sleep or party at night. The staff was quite friendly. The bar was well-stocked and inexpensive. The food was surprisingly amazing. There is security for the gringos. It's not a family hotel, it's a party place. Daisy is one of the managers and is quite nice and accommodating at the front desk. Hazel is sort of a hostess and she is very sweet and friendly, and they both speak good English. Don't go here if you are expecting a Hilton or Ramada Inn. Do stay here if you like to party a little and talk to the locals of San Jose. The rooms are nothing to brag about but there is a working AC and hot shower. The television works. I would stay here again and the price can't be beat!

situated in the seedier end of town
Bit Chaotic and not much english spoken, plenty of hotwater and air conditioning worked ok. No windows in bedroom was a bit of a shock.

The WiFi didn’t work the hole. Time we was there. Then they tried to charges more and what we booked it for. I don’t know who is running the hotel because there was like four people trying to charge. Then they wanted to charge us extra money plus the booking.

Hi, Mr. Ronald, I would like to remember that you got a half price for a room and you let our hotel without paying for your stay showing the person in charge of a fake payment. Our internet connection works but it could be that in the 8 hours you spent in our hotel you wrote the wrong key you must have asked for help. Could be nice and that is everybody expects for an honest person you make the payment for that nice room with 2 bed for $ 40 us per night that I booked for you .. you can make that effect by PayPal as I asked in the last I mail. Thanks very much FOR YOUR REVIEW

NICE PLACE TO CHILL OUT
Excellent customer service the wifi was off couple of hours and they did everything to hook it back up. They served without expecting tips though it will good to always tip cause they'd work so hard.At first I was concerned when I checked in about the windowless room but after spending the night with the noise coming from the bar I get to appreciate not having the window plus I got to sleep in without the bright light waking me up The food is excellent I ordered the same thing throughout my stay there grilled chicken potato and sautéed vegetables Yummy

Il a été un peu compliqué de trouver l'hotel (il est à côté de l'alliance française). La chambre était spacieuse et confortable. Lit king, très propre. Je recommande pour un passage rapide a san jose. Bon rapport qualité prix
