Everything about this place was amazing. IF you are looking for night entertainment it is more quiet , def a place to relax and unwind. They have live solo artist that play. They also do a mexican night on the beach that is very fun. Only recommendation is more pool and beach chairs. If not down there by 8 there is no seating.

This place was terrible from the rock hard bed, broken mini fridge and no sweetener or creamer. The Japanese restaurant was very good but hat was the only good thing. Not to mention they wanted 620 for a room for 1 night. Then I found it on your site for a few third of the price.

My stay at Krystal grand was a bit disappointing. The food was horrible, everything was salty and not many options during the day. The dinner options at the restaurants were just “ OK “. The best thing on the resort was the hibachi restaurant. Also, I didn’t like the fact that it wasn’t much fun on the resort like in house activities.

On the smaller side, which we liked. A lot less walking. Altitude upgrade was totally worth it! Only 5 restaurants and usually 2 closed each night which made the others really busy. Main issue- if you get hungry after 10:00 pm, there isn’t anywhere that you can get food!!! Staff was very nice but not enough of them!

We loved the adult only pool and the staff was so friendly. There are multiple restaurants open for dinner but they alernate which ones are open each night. This created quite a long wait time as they didn't do reservations. We waited over an hour one night. We were there for 8 days so we grew a little tired of the options by the last couple of days. But we were so close to town and could get an uber quickly. We felt very safe leaving the resort. We even talked about bringing our kids here next time.

Please please please read this post about the Krystal Grand. We arrived and at check in they had confusion with our room. We were told the rooms on Expedia don’t match the type of room you are provided. 1. The Air Conditioning did not work 2. The bathroom was dirty and old looking 3. The people in the next room might have well just rented ours. There was a door between the rooms and we had to complain three separate times over two days. The people in the next room were loud, obnoxious and clearly very drunk. We were up and awake until 2:30 each morning and we got very little sleep. 4. Not very many available seats for the pool. All the shade are permanent umbrellas so there are many seats in the full sun all day. 5. During our stay 3/27 to 5/2 the only restaurant was the Buffett and it was completely horrible food. 6. resort. We were informed by the front desk the bed gazebos were 75.00 for rental from 8 am to 8 pm. When they came around to called my wife was informed the Gazebos were 95.00 a day….bait and switch. On our last night the power went out and I have medical equipment that requires electricity. When I called the front desk I was told that it was scheduled maintenance. The fact is this resort does not even come close to what they advertise. Don’t take the chance. Go to the Villa Del Arco or Villa Valencia and you won’t be disappointed. This resort is a waste of good money and in fact I am going to complain to my credit card company. A rating of F~

The staff was so kind. The drinks were good. Food selection was limited but was very good. The property is old and needs updating but is clean. They offer upgraded rooms with upgraded amenities ie: private check in- butler . There was no private check in, the butler did NOTHING. Maybe not worth paying for the upgrades. A private company booked a lot of rooms and we got pushed aside- they catered to this company and pushed all other guests aside.

We enjoyed our jacuzzi suite at the altitude tower. The staff were amazing! Victor (poolside) karen at the grill and bryan at valet to name a few. The pools were nice and big and the overall resort is beautiful. The only downside was the dining options. 2 out of 5 restaurants closed the entire time.. its first come first serve at their establishments so the waits were very long.. oh ya theres no food options past 10pm ! Overall i probably wouldnt stay here again as theres nothing walkable close by

We had a wonderfull stay here, especially (Esmeralda) who was our personal contact for Hotel. She guided us, on places to visit and public transportation. Her service, and being our personal point of contact made our stay, great. But, there was an incident we would like to share. We went to there Spa and were not happy. As a couple, we got a message/jaccuzi body relax. The jacuzi, malfuctioned on us within 5 minutes, and water splashing in our face and wetting towel and floor wet and unsafe. When, we notified them they blamed us. We requested to give us a discount because we did not get full time in jacuzi and they refused. Stay away, from there Spa...as our 1st experience was not pleasant.

Overall, my stay here was decent. Our room was nice and house keeping always kept it clean and stocked up with drinks. The food was good in my opinion, but it could use more options. Unfortunately, the service I experienced here is the reason I would never stay here again. Nobody greeted me when I first arrived to check in. The waiters at the restaurant all seem like they hate their job. I would have to wait so long for anyone to come take our order. Some staff around the hotel were so rude! 3 stars out of 5 for sure. They can definitely use some training around that place.

This resort has limited food options each night and limited activities. We purchased the altitude upgrade, room was oceanfront but left a lot to be desired. It did come with upgraded breakfast and a sky lounge bar. Those were the only perks. Overall the staff is in no hurry to help with anything, food, drinks, ect. We dined at one restaurant and my husband asked for butter for the rolls. The server stated that they had no butter so my husband walked to the Buffett and got butter himself. Overall, I would not stay here again, we actually talked about packing up and moving hotels.

The techno/dis o music is loud and played all day. Our room was close to the pool equipment and the noises from that can be heard all the time. You can’t even hear the ocean because of the loud road noises out front. The restaurants and food are simply TERRIBLE.

This was my first time staying here. Me & my family did 6nights. The balcony doors/glass broken. They switch us to another room the shower door came apart. This was one of the worst hotel we have ever experience. In the morning there’s Tia he’s everywhere. The food terrible. Only positive thing is the bell man Jason was very supportive & try to help us through the inconvenience we went through. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

This resort is more for families or just relaxation: We had a nice time here though. The food was better than expected. We wish there was more entertainment options on the grounds, but we did get a driver to take us to the downtown area which was about 30 mins away. The night life was great there! We didn’t get to enjoy the beach much, but from what we did see it was beautiful and peaceful. Overall, I would rate it a 8

This resort is a 2 star at best. The photos on the website do not reflect the current state of the property. Property is rundown, not enough staff and dirty. There was a bee infestation at the adult pool, my husband got stung twice. They don’t care! Pools and jacuzzi are not cleaned enough as water is cloudy. Power went out twice, there was a water leak so water had to be shut down. Food was subpar and drinks are low quality. I do not recommend this resort at all!

This resort is beautiful! Stunning views of the ocean. The courtyard is just gorgeous ( pathway surrounded by gorgeous flowers, water features added a sense of serenity, chairs to sit n enjoy the peaceful ambiance with a cup of coffee at dawn or dusk ). We had lots of options to keep every member from our family busy ( kid’s pool, adult pools, ocean beach front, coffee house, game room, cocktail bar, outdoor evening entertainment, etc). Our room had an incredible view of the ocean. It was good size room and comfortable for 3 of us. Yummy Food: The food at Krystal Grand was great. Resort offers Lots of options, especially at the buffet options to create healthy meals. Definitely recommend eating at the Ayami restaurant: eating at the teppanyaki table was a great experience ( food was yummy and the chef was highly skilled). Service: Super Helpful staff from concierge to housekeepers to servers, everywhere! Special thanks to Esmeralda, the concierge. She was super friendly and helpful and very efficient. She made sure on daily basis that everything was perfectly planned for us during our stay. She also gave lots of helpful suggestions. Her attention to detail made our vacation extra special. Awesome Staff: The staff at Krystal Grand are amazing! They work really hard to make sure everyone has a great time. Their smiles and willingness to help made us feel so welcome. The restroom in main lobby is closed my wife disappointed in case of emergency she the used the restroom downstairs on the first floor

I was very unsure when booking due to some reviews i saw but i did not have the same experience. I loved this property. For the price, i feel lt's most definitely worth it. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I liked how spaced out everything was and it never felt crowded. I will for sure be coming back here!

Nice hotel:) I lost my towel card this morning (Apr.8)at breakfast dinning hall about 7:30am, a gentleman waiter found it near my table and gave it back to me when I went back and looking for the card. Nice hotel and people here:)

They charge you for amenities that is not available Roaches in the buffet area Food is very salty What you see online is not what you see in person It says 5 star but it’s giving 2 star You pay extra for pool view but no pool view The workers are very nice It feels like you’re in a boujee motel Mixed drinks are watered down They try to sell you everything

Plan on tipping for every drink. If you don’t the waiters will ignore you. Pool side bar was impossible to get service. You have to order through your waiter. Very watered down drinks. If you forgot something like sunblock plan on paying through the noise for it at the resort. Better off walking into town and buying it there.

We had a horrible experience from check in we waited in a line for over 20 min to check in for someone to come and tell us we needed to check in at a different location, we were then taken to that location where we needed to check in & as we were checking in the Receptionist started telling us of all the things that were not included within our stay in a really rude manner , even though the hotel says it’s an all inclusive, & when I said that she stated you get what you pay for.We already started to get even more disappointed to top it off. I asked for a water for my child. Nobody could seem to get me a bottle of water. We then had to wait an additional 20 more minutes to get our bracelets because they did not have any in hand. Then they had no bell boy we had to bring our own luggage 3 flights of stairs. The food was also not great, neither were the drinks. They never had enough staff to serve at the restaurants. After the horrible experience at check in someone from the hotel reached out asking how they could make things better he offered a free massage & of course they were booked, I asked if we could at least do a late check out nothing crazy just an additional hour they said yes & that they would make a note. We went down to the pool & when we came up trying to take a shower our keys did not work, I had to rush down to find the receptionist to let me in, mind you she did not even apologize for the inconvenience. Definitely do not recommend and will not stay here again
