« Our room was nice and clean and we had a beautiful view out of our bedroom window and off of our balcony. There was a river that runs right behind the rooms, it was great listening to that a night. It was great sitting out on our balcony, the balcony is compact though. The little kitchen was nice and suited our needs just fine. Unfortunately the pool was not working while we were there, but it was to cool and it was raining the whole time so we wouldn't have used it anyway. »

« We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended. »

« The photos do not do the house justice. On arrival the house was clean and had all of the necessary kitchen and bathroom essentials. « We spent a wonderful moment here for the 2nd time. We saw many more birds than 4 years ago : all types of toucans, amazing trogons, a caracara, kiskadies, tangara, humming birds... Don't forget to give them papaya😉 The hotel's hotsprings are great while having a cocktail or a juice. We went to Las termalitas and to Arenal and we enjoyed it very much. Chalo and his family are very kind and reactive. You can try the pizzas in chachaga : they are delicious. We love this place and this house a lot! »

"Très bel endroit niché au sein d'un parc naturel privé de plusieurs hectares. Une nuit donne accès à l'intégralité des sentiers de randonnée. On y croise plein d'animaux. Tour guidé gratuit le matin. Très bon petit déjeuner. Multiples points de vue sur le volcan. "
