You can see all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge on clear days, and when it’s foggy it feels like you are sitting in the clouds. There is a huge deck and we are fortunate to have birdsong all around. We overlook Pacifica Beach where there are surfers out every day of the year, often before the sun rises. There are whales to be seen out in the water, as well. Whether you are looking for a quiet getaway, or just a home base for your adventures in San Francisco, our place will be perfect. In order to get up to our stunning views, there are quite a few steps that must be walked up, so we don’t recommend our place to anyone with mobility issues. There are about 110 steps up to the entry door, but don’t worry—there’s a tram available to take you and your luggage or groceries to the top.The space was roomy and fully functional. While it’s a bit dated and could use some maintenance, we booked it for the view and location, and it definitely delivered. I also want to mention that if someone is staying in the unit above, you may hear some noise—but I only note this to be fair in case that’s important to others.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly book here again when visiting the San Francisco/Pacifica area. ##### Richard S. Das positive vorweg. Die Lage und der Blick auf die Küste sind atemberaubend. Der Eigentümer ist hilfsbereit und kommunikativ. Der Terrasse ist jedoch in die Jahre gekommen. Das Geländer bräuchte dringend einen neuen Anstrich und die Sitzbänke und der Tisch sind morsch und verbogen. Ein Fall für den Müll. Die Reinigungskraft nimmt es nicht so genau mit der Sauberkeit. Wir mussten erst einmal den halben Kühlschrank entleeren. Halbe Flasche Wein, über ein Dutzend angebrochene Lebensmittel ( Butter , Mayo , Saucen... ).Wer weiß, wie lange diese schon im Kühlschrank standen ? Auch mal die Gegenstände auf der Arbeitsplatte in der Küche wegschieben und nicht drum herum putzen. Staubwischen auch mal oberhalb der Kopfhöhe. Trotzdem haben wir den Aufenthalt genossen. The property faces north/northeast, so it gets shady early in the evening. -If anyone rents the penthouse above this property, you'll hear ever that goes on up there. Everything. All together, it was an OK experience outside of the couple of days that I had some loud neighbors. The house was beautiful and communication with the owners was incredibly easy. The highlight of the property is the floor to ceiling windows in both the living space and the bedroom and the gorgeous views off the balcony.
