While here at the home base there was always fun to be had with the pool, hot tub, outdoor fire place, ping pong and more. Everything was wiped down and appeared clean but the floors were dirty. I reached out to the owners about a problem with bugs. They were in the kitchen cabinets, dishwasher, and on the counter. I understand some bugs are typical but there were a lot. I bought food to cook throughout our stay but ended up not using most of it because I didn’t feel comfortable cooking in the kitchen . The owners couldn’t get pest control out over the holiday weekend so their solution was to use the bug spray under the sink. I asked where I could find more paper towels and I was told under the sink. When I mentioned they weren’t there, nothing else was said so I went to the store to buy more (the vrbo information said these were included). We were also out of toilet paper. The pool began to flood and the breaker blew when two guests were using a blow dryer. These are all minor problems but when tied in with the bugs and sending several messages throughout the stay, it was a little frustrating. We all loved the pool and backyard space. With lots of space to hang out or spread out. The grill worked really well. The beds were as good or better than other rentals I've stayed at. Just overall an incredible find. It’s even better than the pictures and had everything we needed and more. It’s in a great location yet you don’t even need to leave the house if you don’t want to. Beaches and great restaurants are a quick drive and the house is equipped with tons of games, a BBQ outside and the perfect pool so you can really enjoy the home.
