Sunny outside patio with table, outdoor seating, gas fire pit, and BBQ. Located in the heart of MB, walking distance to restaurants, bars, and both the beach and bay.

This charming beach bungalow on the ground floor has been upgraded with high-quality amenities, including renovated bathrooms and kitchen, a comfortable king-sized bed with a smart 43-inch TV in one of the rooms, and queen-sized beds in the other rooms. One of the queen-sized bedrooms also features a smart 43-inch TV. The spacious living room comes equipped with a large smart TV and a cozy pull-out sofa bed. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials needed to prepare a gourmet meal. Located just 25 yards from the bay side of Mission Beach and 100 yards from the Mission Beach Boardwalk on the Pacific Ocean, this cozy home offers the perfect getaway for a comfortable stay.

We provide guests with high-quality hotel towels, beach towels, a hair dryer, an iron, and an ironing board, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and soap. High-speed internet and a designated parking spot for a small to medium-sized car are also included. The apartment comfortably accommodates six guests, and a high-quality sofa bed in the living room offers an additional sleeping option.

Why stay at a hotel when you can enjoy the comfort of a home in a friendly neighborhood and vacation like a local? This home is also pet-friendly (pending approval), but only small to medium-sized dogs will be considered. A non-refundable pet fee of $150 will be charged if extra cleaning is required due to the pet`s urine, soil stains, or excessive hair or sand.

We offer keyless digital entry and private access to your beach cottage, with a simple 4-digit passcode to remember. The apartment also features a large patio with an outdoor table seating eight, an outdoor sofa with a fire pit, and a BBQ for guests to cook their own meals. A full propane tank is provided, but if another one is needed, guests can just let us know. We also offer boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys for guests to use. These items are left by other guests and there could be limited supply.

The apartment includes a small garage that can fit a small to medium-sized car. The garage also has its own private washer and dryer for guests` convenience. However, if guests prefer, there is a laundromat within walking distance that offers drop-off service for a weight-based fee. Guests can drop off their laundry in the morning, and it will be ready and neatly folded by the end of the day. The beach cottage is thoroughly cleaned between each stay. However, if guests wish to have their linens changed and the home cleaned during their stay, we can arrange for a housekeeper to come for an additional charge of $175. Please give us at least one day`s notice to schedule this service.

For extra parking, public parking is available nearby on the Bay Side, and there may be additional parking available on El Carmel Point. For guests` safety, there are rig cameras (recording devices) located outside the units on the north/east side of the balcony, recording 24/7. This is to ensure the safety of guests and others.

Our garage can accommodate a car that is small to medium in size, but we recommend walking around MB or using a ride-sharing service such as Uber or Lyft. The restaurants, bars, and shops are all conveniently located within walking distance of the apartment.

For your safety and the safety of others, there are Ring cameras (recording devices) located outside the units on the north/east corner of the patio, recording 24/7. Please observe quiet hours after 10 pm, and be sure to wash the sand from your feet before entering the apartments. We have a hose and buckets available for your use. During the turnover of the apartments, the host will use both washer/dryers in both garages, so they won`t be available for guest use until all cleaning has been completed. Typically, this occurs from 11 am to 4 pm on turnover days.

Mission Beach is San Diego`s classic boardwalk beach town with over five miles of waterfront boardwalk, trendy shops, restaurants and Belmont Park, a beachfront amusement park featuring the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, miniature golf, bumper cars, rock climbing and an arcade. Mission Beach is just a few minutes to Sea World, 15-20 minutes to The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, and San Diego International Airport (SAN), and downtown San Diego. Bayside Bungalow is located in Central Mission Beach on the bayside of Mission Blvd. The Bay is located about 25 yards from this home and the ocean is right across the street about 100 yards.

This home is located in a high-density neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. There is a no tolerance policy for excessive noise, occupancy, parties, or smoking at this apartment and fines will be issued for violating these rules. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home. Due to our vibrant location and proximity to the beach, scuffs, scratches, and stains may exist within the house that are not photographed. We repaint and replace items often but not between every guest.
There are Rig cameras (Recording Devices) for your safety located outside the units and recording 24/7. This is for your safety and the safety of others.

Having a car is important to get around San Diego, but you can walk to everything in Mission Beach/Pacific Beach from this Apartment. There is also scooter/bike rentals everywhere in Mission Beach. The Beach, boardwalk, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, playgrounds, bike rentals are all within walking distance. I would also recommend parking your car and using UBER/Lyft to get around or just walk as everything you need is within walking distance from this unit. We do have a small One car Garage that fits a small/medium car.


The bedding for the sofa bed, including sheets, blankets, and pillows, can be found inside the storage box of the sofa bed. Please refer to the picture provided in the check-in instructions for more details. Quiet hours after 10pm. Please wash sand from feet prior to entry into the apartments, we have a hose and buckets for your feet to soak in and get rid of the sand. The Host will utilize both WASHER/DRYER in both garage`s during turnover of the apartments so during those times the washer/dryers will not be available for guest to use until after all cleaning has been done. Typical hours are 11 to 4pm during turnover days.

HOME is listed for SALE but it will not affect your stay or interfere with your reservation. All showing will be done while the home is VACANT.
