Overall, our stay at Hallmark Inn in San Antonio was good. Sonia at the front desk was friendly and even let us check in an hour early with no hesitation, which we really appreciated. The room was clean, and we liked that the AC unit stayed running instead of constantly turning off like in many hotels. There currently aren’t any amenities available due to renovations, but hopefully there will be improvements once they’re finished.

Travelers beware!! For Hallmark Inn and Suites…. To address an urgent and outstanding matter concerning the “deposit charge” that has yet to be refunded to my credit card. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this, the issue persists, causing considerable frustration. This Deposit relates to my stay at your establishment on approximately February 6, 2026 for a two nights stay. Over the past several days. I have made multiple efforts to secure this refund. These attempts have included numerous phone calls and several text messages, which you have not responded. At time of checkout, we personally went by the office and spoke of the deposit, I was assured the matter would be addressed, yet the credit has still not appeared on my statement. This prolonged delay is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the resolution process. I must insist that this long-overdue amount be promptly refunded to my original payment method. I kindly request that you investigate this matter thoroughly and process the credit without further delay. Please provide a confirmation of this refund, along with an estimated timeline for when I can expect to see it reflected on my credit card statement. I look forward to your immediate attention to this pressing issue and a swift resolution.

It’s an affordable hotel that’s being remodeled right now. The staff was really nice, and the updated room was clean and comfortable. Don’t worry about the construction. If you just need a clean, low-cost place to stay for the night, this is a solid option.
