"The owner greeted us with great enthusiasm. She immediately made us feel like family. We stayed in room 13\. It has a charming bay seating area and a brick patio off the front door with a fine wicker table and chairs for two. The room is quiet and clean with sleeping for three. We had never stayed at a pension before. Our experience here changed our bias. Would stay here again!"

"The cabins are old and need a bit of work. In the ‘wet’ room bathroom, the water from the shower ran away from the drain and out towards the kitchen. The crockery, pots and pans weren’t clean and the mattresses were stained, saggy and soft. It’s very basic accommodation but as they charge you more than a family room at a good hotel it needs to be much better."

"Extremely small rooms and narrow stairs. Arrives to this hotel after 26 hours of travel. No one at desk (5pm). Waited 10 mins. Finally someone showed up— told her I was exhausted. Was given room 45 which (I thought) meant 4 flights of stairs (I was dead on my feet). No further instructions were given. I hauled all of my luggage to the top floor to find there was no room 45\. Hauled it all back down again to ask where I was supposed to be — was told with a giggle that they should have given me better directions… the room is an annex off of the first floor 😡 Made it to the room, took a nap and awoke —took a lukewarm shower (ran water for 20 mins to no effect). Went out for a late dinner, only to return to a locked door that my key wouldn’t work in (!) Found two number in the poorly lit entryway — called them both. The second gave me a code to get in (was I supposed to have this? Who knows.). Anyhow, I finally got in. Came down for breakfast in the am— no one at the desk. Decided to try my luck elsewhere. It was my only night there and I was not sad about that. "

"Enjoy the daily breakfast. Very good! The staff was also very helpful and accommodating. I got really sick with some sort of viral infection and couldn't walk and stand for long periods. The staff was so kind to bring water bottles and glasses of ice for me to my hotel room even though the hotel doesn't provide room service. I just really didn't want to get anyone sick, so I decided to contain myself to the hotel room. The ambiance on the lobby is so inviting. I really wish I had more time to sit and enjoy that area, but I was sick the moment I arrived in Aarhus to right before my stay ended. So, I couldn't enjoy the full breath of the hotel or Aarhus for that matter. The warmth is the room was very adequate. I prefer to sleep with cooler temperatures, so I was glad I could open the windows. Casting to the TV worked really nice, which kept me company while sick in my hotel room. I always enjoy and love the heated bathroom floors in Norway and Denmark. Always refreshing! I would definitely stay here again. The location is very central to the central LRT, shops, eateries, the doctor's office, taxis. Very walkable and easy to get around. Though I couldn't do much on this work trip to Aarhus due to falling terribly ill, I would totally visit again. "
