The views and sounds of waves, birds and chickens made it better than any chain resort. It’s a little remote but Nāpali boat experiences and the Waimea Canyon are right outside your door. "

"The Nene Nest was absolutely perfect! We had most of our meals at the Nest as it was perfect eating on the porch and ending the evening with a card game. We could head to the crowds of Poipu or play in the waves at a quiet beach near by. The canyon was a short drive and a must see! The little store in town has the best poke and everyone was incredibly friendly! We also stayed at a resort on the other side of the island - but preferred the privacy and comfort of this beautiful cottage. We will book again for our next visit! Thank you!!"

"Our family of 10 (ages 3 years to 75 years) truly enjoyed our stay at Pali Nui. The common areas were fantastic, and everyone had a private respite to retreat to when desired. The outdoor amenities were constantly being enjoyed. Outside of construction vehicles passing by, the neighborhood is extremely quiet and private. Its location is close enough to Koloa, Poipu and Kukui'ula to afford quick, convenient access to shopping, restaurants and the beach. A definite winner!"

"My husband and I brought our three daughters, their partners, and five grandchildren (ages 17 months to 11 years) for a paradise vacation. Having never been to Kauai, it was a little challenging to find the perfect home.This dreamy home was EXACTLY what we needed, with four primary bedrooms with en suites, as well as a room for all the kids. We all had plenty of space. It was equipped with more than everything we needed! First aid kit, Tommy Bahama beach chairs (5), a pull beach wagon, lots of pool toys, a full kitchen with all necessities including a very cool ice making machine!We were very happy when we found the private and beautifully landscaped paths to the shops as well as the beach. These were very easy walks of less than .5 mile.Our communication with the property manager, Lauren, was wonderful. She was kind, responded quickly to our texts, and promptly accommodated all of our requests. The high chair and Graco pack and play were perfect for my 17 month old grandson (they stayed in the upstairs primary, which was perfect for them and quiet for the baby during nap time, even with all the other kids making noise).My husband and I really enjoyed the separate Ohana room, that had its own private entrance right in front of the main home. To be honest, I was very nervous about spending so much on a VRBO; however, IT WAS SO WORTH IT! We would definitely do it again, and the home was even more beautiful than we expected or than depicted in photos. "
