« Lovely little cottage with a variety of goats, chickens, turkeys, and peacocks. Kim offered two bags of feed to hand out to the animals. Wifey and daughter loved it. Kim and husband were very responsive to our communications. We didn’t take in much of the area, we traveled for business. Nice mall and restaurants within driving distance, Roanoke about 15-20 minutes away. Overall it was a nice, cozy stay. »

« Beautiful location. Very clean and comfortable. Hosts were very quick to respond to questions and needs before and during our stay. Kitchen is well equipped for most cooking needs. We used the gas and charcoal grills, both are well maintained. Perfect for a quiet getaway away from it all. »

« Cute as a button. Traveled with our 3 adult ish kids and had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy this beautiful area of Virginia. Suzanne is a wonderful host who has thought of every detail in the space. The horses in the back pasture are perfect view for starting and ending the day. »

« The Country Cottage was just perfect for us and our dogs. It is ideally located to serve as a launching point to enjoy the endless hiking options and activities in the area and the AT is in the backyard! The hosts are so nice and gracious and the incredibly clean cottage has everything you need and more. The grounds are beautiful and extremely quiet. Between the peacefulness, beauty and super comfortable bed, it was the best sleep we had in a long time. Cannot wait to return! »

« This was the cutest cottage we've ever stayed in! Everything was clean, quiet & close to town & our other family members that were in town. It had all the amenities we needed for us & our 2 dogs & if we are ever back in the area we would definitely love to stay here again! »
