Our home allows you to leave all your worries behind and spend all of your energy playing in one of the top destinations in the United States The Sunflower House is located 5 blocks from downtown Salida. This property is the finest in outdoor living! Enjoy our large stone patio with friends. Curl up with a good book on the patio lounge furniture under the Japanese pergola. Sink into the hot tub after a long day on the river, hiking with friends or biking the world class Monarch Crest Trail. The house was very charming and clean. The hot tub was also, clean, comfortable, and stayed warm even with very cold temperatures. The backyard was fenced in so we could let our dogs out without worrying. We were able to walk to downtown Salida, which was wonderful, and it was a short 35-minute drive to the monarch ski resort. The host was very helpful and kind - one of us left our toiletry bag at the house and the cleaning crew was able to mail it back to us. All in all a great stay.
