Roomy house, beautiful location
We stayed here for our annual Girls Trip, and loved this roomy house. We needed to make a change in our checkout time and T.J. was very prompt and helpful. The area is close to the mountains and beautiful, plus the little town of Salem was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area.

Large enough for our group, worked out for us.
We did not stay there that much. We left early and came back late. We did notice a lot of extra stuff in the storage area's/closets that really didn't need to be there as a guest house. Canning jars, many sets of sheets but not that many large bath towels. Kids room had empty boxes in the closets. The house was really cold, the battery was dead in the thermostat, so we went out and got batteries for it. Very little laundry soap. The first and last place we stayed left us with a stocked fridge and lots of snacks. I was surprised that this did not have any of that. This is my 2nd rental so am not familiar with what is the norm and what is the exception.

Needed some dish towels and more towels, washcloths. The knives all need sharpening. One tub was backed up.

Great stay, just as advertised
Had a great 4 day stay with friends and family. Property was clean and very spacious for kids to run around. Property host had good communication and gave us a heads up on when the lawn mowing service would be there. Hope to stay here again next year!

Issues
We had a few issues. Hall bathroom, the flush handle nut was off not allowing the toilet to be flushed. The sink faucet was very loose and slid around when using. The basement room breaker was tripped so several plugs did not work. The GFI plugs in the master bathroom was tripped. All issues were fixed by us. Not a big deal, overall, we had a very good time and would pick this house in the future.

This home was absolutely beautiful! The beds were comfortable, the sitting area in the family room was comfortable and welcoming; and the kids played for hours downstairs in the game room! The home was clean and had lots of room for our big bunch to settle in and enjoy some family time with cousins! We would definitely recommend staying here for anyone with kids or a big group cause it was very comfortable and spacious! Thank you!!!

All OK but the Check In
The good - because the home is large, there were bedrooms and bathrooms for family and guests to stay comfortably and have some private space. Nothing was particularly nice or updated, but it was all sufficient and the beds were comfortable. The bad - when we arrived at the home just before 10 PM, the door code did not work and the local contact did not respond to calls or texts. I was finally able to reach someone at Evolve (that is who is really handling this rental). The Evolve member was helpful and got us into the house only to find that the house had not been cleaned, linens and towels not washed, beds not made. That was tough after a long day of travel with a toddler. Cleaners were sent the next day, but it was inconvenient. Evolve did reimburse us for some of the problems, but we do not feel it was enough.

Great Neighborhood Lots of Room
First off I had emailed Evolve asking if the property was fully fenced for our chihuahua. They said Yes it was. NO it wasnt luckily there was a roll of field fencing we were able to use but with no way of cutting it we had to use flower pots and a rake to get it to stand reasonably to where my dog couldnt get out. Did not see Welcome book until last day there as it was not out in open. Wifi written on chalkboard no longer visible but my son figured it out. There is no outside patio furniture so make sure and bring your own camp chairs. Towels were not out had to search cabinets for linen. Dirty/stained comforter on bed in bottom room. Black mold in bottom bathroom on ceiling and on trim. Surround sound in entertainment room did not work and was not hooked up. No BBQ. Lawn was not mowed and half dead although sprinklers came on at 11 at night and soaked our chairs. Positive, parking was great. Plenty of room and kitchen did have basics. We cooked all of our meals at the house for 5 days. Close to the Bennions Veterans Home the reason we were there to visit with dad 15 minute drive.
