Price includes electric and water and final clean. One set of bed linen and towels are provided. Santa Maria, Isla de Sal, Cape Verde. Spacious one bedroom apartment on the first floor. South facing balcony with sea view. Some days you can see the neighbouring island Boa Vista. Located 150m from the sea, just a couple of minutes walk. Like a home away from home. Comfy sofa. Quality pine furniture throughout. Double bed, new mattress 2023, and additional single z-bed (suitable for a child). In the quieter Eastern part of Santa Maria, but close enough to walk into the main town. There is a fitted safe (fits 10' tablet), and ceiling fans in the lounge and bedroom. The kitchen is compact but has everything you need, such as gas hob, toaster, kettle. Fridge with small freezer compartment. Perhaps prepare a meal with the fresh fish you have bought from the local fishermen on the pier. There is a Smart TV and WIFI, so you can login to your own Netflix account. Beach towels are not provided. There is a choice of feather or synthetic pillows. For the wind surfers, Angulos is a 5 minutes stroll along the coast. There are some beautiful quiet bays and sand dunes 10 minutes walk to the east, which you will probably find to yourself. You can walk into the main town in 10 minutes. A local grocery shop is just a few minutes walk from the apartment. A mandatory airport pickup fee is payable on arrival and my driver will have your keys. This is between 20 euros and 30 euros depending on size of car (larger for kite/surf gear is available) and time of day. Het uitzicht heeft beperkt zeezicht, je zit ‘tweede rij’ wat ook prima is maar de foto lijkt volledig zicht op zee te geven. Het bed heeft een harde matras en kraakt als je omdraait. Ansonsten gibt es auf der Insel keine grosse Alternativen (Wandern, klettern, Berge besteigen, Gleitschirm fliegen, im Wald spazieren gehen ………! Die Einheimischen waren sehr liebenswert und z.T. wunderschön in Ihrer Bekleidung ! Sonne- Meer und Wind, mit angenehmen Temperaturen (Tag+Nacht um diese Jahreszeit) hat es genügend ohne dass man am Abend von Mücken geplagt wird ! Loved the quiet, safe and close from center neighborhood. As Kiters/Wingfoilers it's been a blast to be able to enjoy the Punta Leme spot in front of this place. It's a comfortable 2 room apartment, with nice kitchen and balcony. Greatly managed. Thank you again Deb for your availability, help and flexibility. Het appartementgebouw staat echter tussen bouwterreinen wat een rommelige indruk geeft. Het huis zelf is goed. Het bed is nogal gammel, de badkamer met douche uitstekend. Het is net ver genoeg van het rumoerige Santa Maria om je rust te vinden, maar de blaffende honden hoor je toch nog van ver. De verhuur van surfspul is vlakbij en erg goed equipped. Er is 1 wc rol, handdoeken en een minie koffie potje. Om te koken moet je alles zelf kopen wat wel jammer is. Dit hangt ervan af wat de vorige bewoner heeft achtergelaten.
