I had a very poor experience here, I had requested a restaurant reservation on my booking in form but this didn't happen, I mentioned this on arrival and was told there were no tables available and nothing could be done, after 35 years of travelling and staying 1000s of nights in hotels this is the first time I have not been able to get a table in the restaurant of the hotel of which I am a resident, very poor.
The Spa is a stretch of the imagination, the pool was ok but cold, the 'spa' is an upstairs room with two outside hot tubs in it (only one working) an a sauna (cold) the changing facilities are two boxes with curtains on them in the vestibule area. This is not what I expected as a Spa!
The Superior room was like a prison cell with sloping ceilings so head banging was virtually unavoidable and the window was tiny so no view or natural light
The building is beautiful and set in nice grounds but the experience of staying here is one of the worst I have ever experienced, especially for the cost and the write up.

"The room was clean but smelled of mold and or cat urine. It was also very small and spartan. I was awoken at 4am by something touching me and it was a spider that had descended down to tale a nap. The breakfast was a separate charge of 14e and was absolutely not worth it. Had nothing hot on the buffet ..."
