"The location was remote, not conveniently located to a town. Road was dangerous to drive at night. Hotel did not have a lighted sign at the highway, so I went past the turnoff on 2 occasions, almost causing an accident when I pulled off to let cars pass so I could turn around."

"Absolutely loved this stay. The place was perfect and we traveled a lot around the island - I don't think we could have found a better location. The beach is a short walk down the water front. Plenty of food options in town. Each morning we walked to the local bakery and grabbed breakfast and stopped at the fruit stand on the side of the road. The place itself is as described, very comfortable. We enjoyed the ground floor and patio to eat and read on, we also frequented the pool. I would completely recommend staying here! "This hotel is lovely. The staff is so warm and welcoming considering l’m a novice when it comes to the French Language. I had one of the best meals on my trip here. The breakfast is amazing. I took one star off for the distance from the city/town center. Area around the property is great and there are 2 beaches that are walkable and safe. If you are looking for a few days of R and R this place is for you. Everything you need regarding dining, spa/wellness is on site as well as yoga. This was my first time to Guadeloupe and the staff at this hotel made it a wonderful one. "
