## Emplacement
Once a fishing village, Saint-Raphaël is now a sports and cultural town as well as a popular seaside resort. The town offers a wide variety of landscapes and activities, divided between the old town, the various ports and the beaches. The city stretches along 36 kilometers of coastline and offers thirty beaches of fine sand or pebbles, from the city center to the edge of the Alpes-Maritimes. With all the pleasures of water sports such as sailing, swimming, fishing and diving, walks along the water's edge, as well as a maritime archaeological museum. You can also discover many cultural sites such as the old town, the Romanesque church of Saint-Rafeu, the Basilique Notre-Dame de la Victoire and the Jardin Bonaparte.
