"Unforgettable experience in the Sahara in all its glory under the stars but with all the amenities you would need. Dinner comes with a traditional folk and dance followed by the acrobatics on the horses and then a showcase on traditional breadmaking in the sands. Tent is massive and has power. Place is a bit tricky to if you rely on google maps as it'll take you through the more "scenic" paths but its all in the experience!"

"Our stay was everything that was promised. The premises were as luxurious as the surrounding could possibly permit (i.e., out in the middle of nowhere). The tent was relatively bug-free; the plumbing worked great; the bed was comfortable. It was easy to lounge around in the common area, and comfortable to wake up at 5am to admire the stars and watch the sun rise. "What an amazing experience! Luxury camping in the Sahara desert! From the time we met Younass and his crew, we felt the pride that they have for their area and culture and how dedicated they were to our enjoyment of the experience. "We had a day layover while traveling through Egypt and decided to just stay close to the airport in Cairo. The Meridien Cairo Airport is a great hotel. The service from check-in to check-out was excellent. The variety of restaurants with bars was great, the pool and exercise rooms were great, too. Now the best part was we walked from baggage claim across an indoor skyway directly to the hotel."
