The hotel garden is beautiful; it was a very pleasant start to our overall experience in Japan. Walking in the morning through this garden is a great way to start the day, as it was very quiet with few people.
Hotel look more like an "old" luxury resort, Victorian / regal style decoration (you can tell it has been here a while) but remains in good condition. Room (and bathroom) were far more spacious than the other hotels we stayed in Japan.
Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we had in Japan. The Pancakes were phenomenal.
