Try our dressing up clothes in the stables and meet our horses, Duke and Jack, too. Children can let loose in our fun themed play area next to our Cart Yard Café which is always very popular with visitors. Audley End House itself is a magnificent house, built to entertain royalty, and includes a Victorian Service Wing complete with kitchen, laundries and a dairy. With beautiful grounds to explore, including an impressive formal garden and the working Organic Kitchen Garden, there’s so much to see and do at Audley End House. Originally adapted from a medieval Benedictine monastery, the house and gardens at Audley End were amongst the largest and most opulent in Jacobean England. Today Audley End is set in a tranquil landscape with stunning views across the unspoilt Essex countryside. Visitors can enjoy the painstakingly restored parterre with its eye-catching bedding scheme and a walled kitchen garden run entirely on organic principles. « Chambre très petite, salle de bains minuscule, lit de 140cm, vue sur le jardin non entretenu,… L’accueil fut bref, nous aurions souhaité un plan de la ville mais cela est inexistant dans ce BB. Très très grande déception pour le petit déjeuner qui est industriel, du jamais vu! Petit pain emballé dans des sachets en plastique, les œufs sans goût, industriel je suppose, un bocal avec 5 amandes sur le buffet, café sans goût,… Les commentaires précédents ne correspondent absolument pas à la réalité,...

« Nous avons du réserver cet hôtel car notre vol a été annulé. Stan et sa femme son très gentils, Avec un grand coeur, et à l’écoute, nous avons super bien était accueilli. Leurs maison est vraiment très belle. La chambre très grande. Le lit super confortable, il y a vraiment tout ce qu’il faut, café, thé, frigo, télé sèche-cheveux. Le petit déjeuner très copieux et super bon. Je recommence vraiment cet endroit. »

« This is a beautiful B&B in a quiet residential area. The large garden is a perfect place to relax and defuse after a busy day. There is also a big public park a short distance away that has football nets, basketball, tennis, etc. The Holly Tree is walking distance from the bus station where there is a bus going downtown every 5 minutes. It is also walking distance from the medical complex, making it very helpful for the families of people in Addenbrook's or Royal Papworth. The proprietor...

"Véritable coup de cœur pour ce bel hôtel avec un très bel emplacement sur Cambridge à proximité de tout en plein centre ville. Très propre, literie incroyable et jolie décoration moderne et épurée, nous avons passé un agréable sejour dans cet apparaîtra. Mention spéciale pour la cuisine équipée qui est vraiment petite mais efficace. Nous n’avions pas vraiment cuisiné mais y avait tout ce qu’il faut sur place si besoin. L’ambiance et musique très sympa dans les parties commune et le personnel accueillant rendent vraiment l’endroit très cosy et on s’y sent à l’aise. Nous reviendrons sûrement si jamais nous reviendrons à Cambridge et j’espère que les prix resteront abordables "

"Accueil très agréable pour une nuit afin de visiter Cambridge. Très pratique d’avoir la station de bus U1/U2 de l’autre côté de la rue ainsi qu’un supermarché Sainsbury’s. Chambre spacieuse qui donnait sur la rue, petit bémol pour le lit un peu trop ferme pour nous. Très bon petit-déjeuner dans le restaurant Astronomer. Serveur très sympathique Emmanuel, qui est français. Parking souterrain (15Pound/ 24h) à réserver à l’avance. "
