Summary:
The Den is a newly refurbished bungalow located on New House Farm. Located in a peaceful setting in rural Staffordshire this is the ideal location to come for a serene getaway. With a warm and inviting interior you will have the whole place to yourself. The property is almost exclusively across one floor with a snug area upstairs that would be suitable as a play room for small children or a place to relax. The Den can comfortably sleep up to five guests with one double bedroom, a sofa bed in the lounge and a futon in the snug. Pets are welcome, but need to be kept on a lead due to the sheep in the adjoining field surrounding the property.
The Space:
This newly renovated space which can accommodate up to five guests is ready to provide for your every need at this home from home.
Most of the accommodation is located on the ground floor. As you enter the property there is an open plan kitchen/living area with a sofa bed and smart TV. The kitchen has everything you will need for dining in, including kettle, toaster, microwave, double oven, electric hob, washing machine etc. Off of this room is a small shower room with electric shower (no bath). A double bedroom also on this floor with a lovely comfortable bed.
Upstairs you will find a small snug area in the loft space which you can access via the stairs in the main living room. This space would be suitable for a childs play room or used as an area for you to relax with a single futon which can accommdate one person to sleep. Please note it is not possible for an adult to stand in this space upstairs.
Outside you have a paved patio area for you to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
People with well behaved pets are welcome to bring them but must be kept under control at all times as you are staying in a rural area with sheep and animals in the fields nearby.
Please note the property is located in a rural area so there will be wildlife and dependent on the weather conditions it may become muddy in the surrounding fields.
Guest Access:
The property is self check in using the key box outside the property. You will receive a code within 48 hours of your check in date. You will have the whole property to yourself for the duration of your stay. You won't be sharing with anyone. The property is on an old farm and you may see other guests staying at the other properties on the surrounding land.
The Neighborhood:
There is lots to explore in the surrounding area. For family-friendly adventures, the National Forest Adventure Farm is within easy reach, providing a diverse range of activities and events. Uttoxeter Racecourse adds a touch of excitement for horse racing enthusiasts, while the historical charm of Sandon Hall and the Shugborough Estate beckon those interested in exploring the region's rich heritage. The neighborhood offers a perfect balance, allowing guests at New Farm House to enjoy the peaceful countryside while being in close proximity to a variety of engaging attractions.
