"We received a warm welcome at this hotel, which is superbly located on the seafront in Binz. The rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast was excellent and the bar was pleasant. The pool and spa facilities were very good and you are also able to book beach chairs on the hotel’s private stretch of beach. This is not a part of Germany that is popular with the British, which probably added to its charm. It is a hidden gem."

"Problem solving = zero. Asked for beach towels got the reply that the hotel was not on the beach so no towels, no info that you need to reserve parking, no info for the first night that you need reservation for eating, asked for a fan - we don't have and no aircond either.... was the answer. Finally, when checking in they asked for more money with the excuse that I not stayed with the chain earlier. I have not recived the final bill yet due to the fact that the system was down when checking out...

"Surprising good hotel, considering the modest price and huge scale. It's not as charming as the old Victorian-style guesthouses in Binz, but it's right on the beach, and rooms are surprisingly spacious and everything is squeeky clean. We even had a small balcony, looking on to the forest. Dogs are allowed for an extra €10. Mini tea kitchen and plenty of space for clothes.
