« Everything about our stay was excellent. Extremely convenient to Mount Ellen at Sugarbush. My family and I definitely utilized the outdoor hot tub as well as the EV charger. The only concern I had was the smell of sulfur coming from the toilet. It was mild, but noticeable. Regardless, we would stay there again in a heartbeat. »

« We spent the night in Mad River Valley at the 1830 House for a weekend event. The house was clean and cosy and it accommodated all of us. The Wifi worked well and we loved the privacy each of us had in our own rooms. We also appreciated the kitchen (there are two, if you book the whole house - one up and one down!). It was close to our venue, the Mad River Barn, too. The only downside (minor) was the steep stairwell to the second floor. There was no railing to guide guests. My 84-year-old mom...

« The house had plenty of light, both from windows and fixtures, and a beautiful, peaceful location. Appreciated the tasteful decor and thoughtful choice in dinnerware and appliances. Also appreciated the selection of fragrance-free, natural soaps, shampoo/conditioner, cleaning supplies, etc. We can't wait to come back. »

« The maple castle was awesome! Definitely the most unique house I have ever stayed in. You can sit in the hot tub and watch the river or you can walk down a tiny hill to tie up a tube and float in it. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend. »
