Scandic Spectrum

10/10 Excellent

"This Scandic Spectrum hotel in Copenhagen was an absolutely beautiful hotel! The five of us all really enjoyed it especially the rooftop bar is gorgeous. After we checked in, they made sure we got housekeeping everyday and, even though we at first had trouble with the lights like other reviews, one staff member came up for a tutorial and we finally got the hang of it. Would highly recommend it to visit Copenhagen."

"Arrived late at night - online check in but instructions were not that explanatory for first time users. No instructions in the room as to how the lights worked! A notice by the door would have been helpful. Clean room/bathroom and comfortable bed. Good breakfast but no fresh berries and only available fruit was bananas. Reasonable value for the cost and would stay here again if visiting Copenhagen in transit."

"We were a bit worried about hotel given location but it was ideal Staff are fantastic, rooms were great and cleaning staff were beyond amazing. Lounge attendant was incredible and the 2nd floor restaurant was great value for money and staff were superb. Food was world class. The only downside would be the restaurant upstairs - sushi sticks (sp?) which was woeful on service and food. 100% skip / they were short staff so probably not hotels fault It’s such a big property but would be good to have hallways cleaner as often rubbish in hallway over the week there."

"I got what I asked for. A king bed, walk in shower and close to the elevator. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not eat breakfast there so can’t rate the food. Nice bar and lounge where we met our friends after we had lunch at the Christansborg Castle. You need reservations. Use Uber not the taxi at the hotel. Uber is less expensive. Staff told us that. It’s true. No bars in the shower and gloor is slippery so we used the hand towel. Didn’t get a shower although I saw them on the housekeepers cart. She also forgot the bath mat the second night. I would stay there again but will ask for a shower cap and mat. There’s a live band venue across the street and it got loud but window does help if closed but it did get hot in the room so I had to open the window. Band eventually did stop performing."
