About this property

Cozy Cottage

  • Relax and unwind with the whole family in this peaceful home. Surrounded by nature, very private wooded area yet a 5 min drive to the Roscommon village. Property is located 3 min from public access to Ausable River, 10 min to Higgins Lake, 20 min to Houghton lake, 15 min to Forest Dunes Golf Club, 15 min to Hanson Hills Skiing Park, lots of trails for hiking, snowmobile, and atv's. This is a great place to spend time away from the city year round.

    The property is located in Roscommon, Michigan. The village of Roscommon is a 5 min drive from the home; where you can find local stores and restaurants. In the summer time you can enjoy the Ausable river, Higgins lake or Houghton lake. In the winter you can enjoy ice fishing in those same lakes. If you prefer skiing and tubing you can go to Hanson Hills in Grayling just 15 min away or Otsego Resort 40 min away. Or you may decide to stay in and enjoy the 2 acre property full of snow.

    The garage and polebarn area is off limits for guests. You can park anywhere on the concrete area of the property. If traveling in the winter please keep in mind there is about 2-3 feet of snow from Dec - March.
