Nice cheap and cheerful hub close to the termini, stayed for one night as we arrived in Rome late. A person in the adjoining room kept coughing and it felt like they were in my room with me but other than that no complains

Change of plans led to better things.
Wasn't able to get into this hotel, because of no late check-in availability, but the manager Alessandro was able to work with it and had us stay at another hotel that was closer to romes main attractions. Good customer service and manager recommended. -BW

Great place to stay to walk around Rome. Average 20 minute walk to all the sights, 5 minute walk to metro. Comfortable room and friendly staff.

Great location. Close to Metro. Lots of good restaurants and some shopping near the plaza (metro exit). secure building with elevator. Check in was Paola was wonderful. She spoke NO ENGLISH but she was able to communicate entry procedures since building is locked after hours. Hotel had fridge and wine opener which was very nice.

Location of the hotel is great! It would benefit from a little TLC and the air conditioning isn’t great, however overall a pleasant stay and I would stay again.

The room was beautiful and impeccable! Right in the center of Rome! Just three minutes to the bus/train/metro station. We really enjoyed it and totally recommend it.

Good and quiet location. Staff kind enough to arrange late check in for me. Bathroom is not modern but is everything I need. Shower is comfortable. Had to wait for quite long to get hot water, but once you get it it's well enough throughout the entire shower

Hotel Rome, near to railway station
The hotel was in a good location and within walking distance of the railway station. the room we had was slightly noisy and on arrival the person, whilst very pleasant, did not speak any English which cause a little confusion. Room was clean and comfortable but it would have been nice to have tea/coffee making in the room and for the breakfast offered not to be in another location around the corner in a different building. This said, if someone wanted a reasonably priced, clean and comfortable place to stay then this is OK

Great location in central Rome and near to railway station. Nicely presented room and good value. Entry to building and apartment needs to be updated. Would recommend for those looking for basic accomodation but with a touch of elegance.

Convenient and authentic
Check in smooth from the nearby pub. The room was clean and quiet. The shower needed repair. Our cable didn't work so we changed rooms. The new room was spacious but the internet didn't work unless we went out to the hallway. We liked the convenience of the refrigerator, the lift and security. An overall pleasant experience! Breakfast was nice.

I was expecting the condition of the room to be newer because that is what I felt the images displayed. The staff were very friendly. But it is a very basic room. The location was excellent, very walkable. It was clean, but the shower had some mould issues. It was OK for the price, but I'm not sure if I would stay there again.

Great value for money and great location
The hotel was great...good location a 10-15 minute walk to Trevor fountain/Spanish Steps. Room was really clean and hotel and area felt really safe. Room was a little small and dark but we had the economy room. it was ok considering the price. checking in/out was a block away in a pub. The people who worked there were fantastic. really excellent service. continental breakfast was included and fine. For an extra €2.50 you could upgrade to bacon and eggs breakfast. Would stay again and would definitely recommend.

Great location
Hotel was in a great location near the train station and extremely close to restaurants, shops. We were looking for location and this hotel worked out for us as every site was easily accessible by walking. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and staff were splendid. Breakfast was just ok and hopefully they can improve on that. Staff were helpful and pleasant.

Clean and simple setup. Just what we needed.
Simple accommodations were clean and just what we needed. Staff were accommodating as far as making our checkin easier. (Checkin is done in a small office located in the back of their sister pub, which is actually two short blocks away from actual lodging address.) They had a man run over the keys so that the taxi could drop us at hotel address rather than make us schlep our bags. He happened to be the cleaner; he was very kind and kept our room clean and stocked with essentials like toilet paper, soap and plastic cups . Breakfast was available for guests of Flann at a discounted rate at the pub, aka, ckin address of via nazionale, 17. The only suggestion I would make is , since the rooms are quite small, some hooks on walls for wet clothes would have been helpful. As it was raining we returned to our rooms with damp clothing which we creatively hung on doorknobs and lamps. Overall, a cool idea, simple, clean accommodations, no room service or front desk. Rooms are in a quiet building with elevator ( though 5 steps up before you get to the elevator) . Air conditioning worked well and was controlled by us, a big plus. Wifi worked pretty well.

Very basic hotel , close to all historic sites
Basic B+B, excellent staff, close to all historic sites ,we bought the 72 hour Roma pass but after walking around for a couple of days found that we didn't really need to , buses and trains frequent , Food was of good quality but on the whole portions were of a medium size , the City of Rome is beautiful but spoilt by street hawkers who dog your every step. Beggars are plentiful ,Such a sorry site . Graffiti is everywhere even in the restrooms of a church we visited for a concert such a shame to deface a beautiful place and city , Security is everywhere armed police the army and many other agencies. Traffic is horrendous and the noise can be disturbing, watch your step when crossing the roads your destiny is in your hands as no one follows any road signs or requests, Attractions are many and varied but but queues can be very long and on most security is very high and some attractions have airport level systems you will also be be beleaguered by line jump offerers who will promise you everything and cost you the earth,On the whole We had a wonderful holiday and you must see Rome its Beautiful.

Let me tell you some bullets based upon my experience: 1- Location was ok cause it is near the bus & metro station. 2- Room was extreamly small (you can barely have space to put your bags. 3- Check-in was located away from the rooms (another road that is 5 minutes away walking) which caused us issues reaching it with our luggage. 4- Breakfast was very good (croissant, butter, bread, jam and coffee). 5- Rooms are not like the ones in the pictures but are very small compared to it and are not that new.

Nice location for reasonsble price
After finding the front desk (who's using a cafe on a different address 2 blocks away) we were kindly welcomed and showed to our room. The rooms are in an apartment T building, I personally really liked that it gave a lot of privacy. It was a little run down and I could have used a few more clean towels throughout the stay, but the room has everything I need: Ac/safety box/free wifi/a large window. The shower was never consistently warm, but it's August so I didn't mind, although I prefer a choice....

An economical room for travelers on a budget.
First off, after I booked the room on Expedia the hotel was quick to respond. In their response email they stated they could even organize a private car booking service for 45 Euro, which we thought would be a good idea. The driver was not their at the airport for our arrival and long story short, we ended up waiting about 15mins for a second driver to come to our location. (Use this particular service offered by the hotel at your discretion.) Second, when we arrived to the general area of the hotel, the driver took us to the "Flann O'Brien Bar/Pub", which is where they handle check-in for the hotel which is around the corner about a four minute walk from the pub. (This was a little odd, but all went smoothly). The room itself was rather small, and the TV was tiny, but they did have AC! This is a huge plus as this place was smoldering hot. Considering we only used the room for sleep and shower we were happy. If you are looking for top of the line accommodations, amenities, etc... you may want to look elsewhere, but for our two night stay it was a good experience.

Fin service og ophold
Vi havde nogle gode dage i Rom. TRS er et rigtig fint sted til både familier og par. God beliggenhed i et trygt kvarter. Du skal huske at der oven i prisen lægges Rom by skat - som er en påtvunget skat til udlejere. Og det skaber helt uretfærdigt lidt uheldige situationer for udlejer når det skal opkræves. Alt i alt fin service og OK ophold.
