This is absolutely the worst experience I ever had. At first, the check-in was terrible. I message the owner before I got to Rome, telling him that I will arrive between 10:00 AM-12:00 PM but no one there to open the locked door for us and we had to wait outside until his assistant came who could not speak English at all. He could only communicate with Google translate. Then to our surprise, we had to share the bathroom and kitchen with him and 4 other guests. The shower had barely enough warm water to finish a bath and the sink had no warm water at all. .

Dear Sir We have never received a review like yours. Probably you have missed the fact that the check in time is between 3PM and 8PM as clearly stated in the description. Our facility is not a Hotel and therefore we don't have a reception open all day. Having personnel waiting all day long would be an expense that wouldn't allow us anymore to be among the cheapest Guest Houses in Rome. In any case we are sorry about your bad experience.

Good night.
Late check in at 21:00 did not attract an additional fee like in some other places. This was a very good thing about the Termini guesthouse. The staff that met me was friendly and helpful even telling me where to get some food to eat. He was waiting for me when I arrived.

I’ll certainly return!
Very comfortable stay and excellent service By the couple who run the property. Very clean and accommodating and situated very close to many restaurant options and the train station.

Somehow we were settled in the different property, on the same street but it looked nothing like the one we were booking on expedia by photos. The place didn’t look so nice and comfortable. First we got the room where there was a window in the bathroom, right by the shower and there was no door above the door and we could hear everything from the corridor. The next day the host transferred us to a better room. He was very nice all time, brought fresh croissants every morning, helped us. He told us that there was no free place at the other property, but it is not right to make it this way. Just check with the host before you come if you gonna get what you saw on pictures. The property is very close to the train station, which is comfortable if you gonna travel. Nearby streets were also clean, nevertheless it is close to Termini.

Hello, you are absolutely right, it is quite rare but occasionally that could happen if two reservations for the same room and the same day are made within a few minutes from each other, by two different customers. The problem you mention is unfortunate but it is something every host is faced with occasionally. The good news is that we have several other rooms in the area and we can deal with the problem if that happens. We are glad anyway that your vacation was overall satisfying.
