House Pio IX is a quiet and peaceful apartment, ready to welcome 6 / 8 people.
Located about 2 km from San Pietro has a strategic location from which you can reach in minutes the underground (500 mt. Stop 'Cornelia') and the public bus station(50 mt.) Also is easily reachable by car .
A few steps away is the park of Pineto considered one of the most 'beautiful green areas of the capital, some time ago arrived until Vatican walls and there were furnaces that provided material for the Factory of Saint Peter.
The apartment is about 85 square meters, located on the second floor of a building with lift, composed by 3 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and 2 balconies, surrounded by restaurants, pizzerias, shops, pubs and many other services.
In the surroundings you can find the Policlinico A. Gemelli, the Center Conferences Ergife and Dermatological Institute dell'Immacolata IDI.
House Pius IX is ideal for those who wishes a quiet accommodation where you can reach quickly and easily the center of Rome.

Appartement fantastique

Superbe appartement d’une propreté impeccable, 3 belles grandes chambres, une cuisine très bien équipée, 2 salles de bain complètes, 2 grands balcons; tout est prévu pour notre confort. Le métro est à quelques minutes de marche de l’appartement et il n’y a que 4 stations seulement pour se rendre dans le quartier du Vatican. Un très bon restaurant de cuisine italienne traditionnelle, à prix abordable, se trouve juste au bas de la rue. Nous le recommandons sans hésitation. Gabriella est une hôte vraiment charmante. Elle avait mis à notre disposition jus, lait, pain et diverses gâteries pour nous assurer un bon petit déjeuner à notre arrivée. De plus, elle nous a organisé un transport entre l’aéroport et l’appartement à un coût très raisonnable. Merci Gabriella pour votre gentillesse. Nous recommandons cet appartement sans aucune hésitation.

Conforme à la description

Tout était parfait chez Gabriella. L'appartement est spacieux et bien équipé. La literie est confortable et la corbeille petit déjeuner est bien garnie. L'appartement est loin du centre ville mais le métro nous y emmène en 15mn. Le quartier est bien pourvu en commerces de toutes sortes et les commerçants sont aimables et sympathiques. Le petit restaurant "l'antica torre" propose des menus corrects pour un prix très raisonnable et cela à deux pas de l'appartement. Enfin et c'est bien appréciable Gabriella propose de venir vous accueillir à l'aéroport et de vous y ramener à la fin du séjour pour un prix très modique. Nous yavons passé Une très bonne semaine. Merci Gabriella.

Séjour très agréable, très bon rapport qualité/prix

L'appartement est très spacieux, très agréable pour le séjour. Il est situé dans un quartier calme, non touristique, et nous avons apprécié cela car il y a à proximité un marché et une pizzeria de quartier comme on peut l'imaginer, qui sert des plats de qualité pour des prix très abordables. Il n'y a pas de parking privé mais il est possible de se garer dans la rue. La propriétaire nous a très bien accueilli bien que nous soyons arrivés tard à cause de bouchons à Civitavecchia. Elle nous a bien conseillé sur les sorties, les endroits où il valait mieux réserver et comment. Pour accéder au centre ville, nous avons pris le métro à la station Cornelia à environ 10 mn à pied de l'appartement et nous étions alors rapidement en centre ville, but permanent de notre séjour. En voiture, l'appartement est facilement accessible depuis l'extérieur et nous sommes allés une journée à Ostia Antica et l'aller et retour en voiture était également facile.

Super clean, excellent neighborhood location & great hostess (Gabriella)!

The apartment was very clean! I’ve stayed in many VRBOs and this one was the most clean and spotless. Check-in was very easy. Gabriella met us at the apartment and had delicious snacks in the kitchen which was a nice touch. Two of the three bedrooms had a nice balcony. The bedrooms were spacious. Perfect size for my family of four. The apartment has air-conditioning in the bedrooms! There’s a Nespresso machine with coffee pods in the kitchen and good WiFi connectivity. The neighborhood has many excellent restaurants such as La Romanesca Osteria and Mejo Cucina Romana. Short walk to the train station (Cornelia). Thank you - we would definitely stay there again!

Comfortable in Rome

This was a great apartment for our 5 night Rome vacation. Communication and check in/out were very easy. The apartment is huge and was plenty of space for our family of 5. It was stocked with everything we could need and the comfort of the beds, shower, etc. made it the type of place we looked forward to coming home to at night. The neighborhood has everything you could need, with great restaurants, shops and an amazing daily street market just one block over. It was very hot while we were there, so the AC was amazing to have and worked great. The walk to the metro is very easy and then could get wherever we needed relatively quickly. We would be excited to return to Rome and stay here again.

Great stay for our family

Thank you Gabriella for the wonderful stay at your property. From the constant communications and the wonderful breakfast basket. Thank you and we had a great time. The place is a bit outside of Rome and getting to all the tourist spot took some time to get there. We are twice at this wonderful restaurant down the street that I would highly recommend. They made my daughter’s birthday dinner memorable. The place is called La Romanesca.

Penomenal hostess

Rome was great and having a place to stay that made all places easily accessible was even better. Neighbourhood was superb, the little cafe at the corner of Pio IX and Boccea has a great cafe latte and chocolate croissant. Gabriella was very helpful, particularly when we arrived a little late (she was there waiting for us) and when we left ( she ensured we knew where our taxi was because it was delayed). We highly recommend staying there. The place is beautiful, very clean. We felt welcome. Thank you Gabriella

We love the apartment, big and clean rooms. I especially loved the fact that one room has its own bathroom, and well stocked. We appreciated the nice touch of leaving us with a fresh loaf of bread and the jelly. And the market, what a great surprise! We brought fresh groceries and the prices are affordable. Also, the area is pretty close to the center of the town, very easy to reach by metro and bus. I will definitely recommend it to friends and in case we go back, would love to stay tjere again

We had a lovely stay is this very clean and comfortable apartment. The host Gabriella met us on our arrival and was very helpful explaining the apartment and area. Gabreilla provided us with breakfast provisions too! It was a relatively short walk to the Metro station to explore Rome. Wonderful

This is a wonderful 3 br/2bath condo outside of Rome but close to bus and metro. The host, Gabriella, is just fabulous, treating us with much kindness. She came and cleaned the place and replaced the towels and sheets already through our stay which was greatly appreciated. We stayed for two weeks in July and loved the air conditioning and local outside market, just down the street. This is a true gem and we can’t wait to stay again!

Clean spacious apartment

The host was very informative and helpful on our arrival. Everything clearly explained and lots of advice on nearby services. The apartment was immaculately presented and plenty of room for a family of 4. It is a 15min walk to the closest metro station and 15 min to centre of London. If you are looking for accommodation at less than prices for the centre of Rome this is a great option.
