Séjour de 7 nuits en juillet 2016 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### DEGRUGILLIER A. 29 mai 2016 #### Une très chouette adresse à Rome Un appartement très propre, bien aménagé, hyper bien équipé (tout est pensé pour que vous n'ayez rien à acheter en équipement pour l'appartement) et très bien situé (à une rue du vatican entrée du musée). 2 supermarchés tout proche et le métro à 2 minutes à pied. De plus un glacier est dans une rue juste derrière ;-) La cour intérieure est super agréable,nous avons passé une semaine dans l'appartement et avons mangé dehors tout le temps! Matilde Pavone est très agréable et essaiera de répondre à vos demandes du mieux qu"elle peut et rapidement. J'apporterai juste une petite correction à l'annonce, il n'y a pas 2 chambres mais 1 seule ; le 2e lit étant un canapé-lit dans le salon/cuisine. The refrigerator was stocked with drinks and several things that made my arrival easier. The garden is great and the apartment has real artwork on the walls. Matilde met us to do check-in and collect the city tax (yes, it's a requirement from ANY property in Italy) and gave us a brief run through of the amenities. She was even kind enough to have snacks in the refrigerator and a bottle of wine!The property is a block away from the entry to the Vatican Museums and easy for using the train/bus. It's also within walking distance (3-ish miles) from all of the major attractions. A grocery store is across the street, or there are multiple restaurants within a 15 minute walk. There are also a few shops for clothing and gifts on the same street.The shower was hot and had good water pressure.It was quiet with very little street noise and the neighborhood felt safe.We'd definitely stay again! ##### Marie S. Fantastic places to eat were doors away, the grocery store across the street was very affordable and super convenient! Matilde personally checked us in even though we arrived later in the evening. She provided us with a warm smile and all the information we could want about the area. She was even kind enough to gift us a coupe small figures that she made by hand. The outside space was second to none! So many places to sit and enjoy some wine after a long day of site seeing. We will rent this wonderful space every time we visit Rome. ##### John P. We picked the location to be near the Vatican so we could explore this part of Rome. When I say near, the Vatican was so close! The neighborhood was lovely, restaurants, grocery, etc all very convenient. The property itself was perfect for us. We had all the amenities that we could have needed. The bed was comfortable. The standout of the property is the garden courtyard. We spent evenings out there just enjoying the space. If we are in Rome again, we’d definitely book again. ##### Joy B. Matilde is a wonderful host who is very easy to communicate with. The apartment has decor that is really quite nice, a comfortable bed with very good pillows, a good-sized shower, a well-equipped kitchen, and a pleasant spot to relax in the living room. Those are all things I look for in an apartment. My favorite part is the garden terrace which is quiet and green and comfortable and so peaceful. I should add that the yummy snacks and the very nice bottle of wine left for me in the fridge were so welcome after the long journey from the U.S. The neighborhood is safe and convenient to public transport (2 metro stations close by in addition to bus stops, one right out front and another just down the street). There are quite a few good cafes, gelaterias and restaurants in the immediate area and the Vatican is a short walk away. I absolutely recommend this apartment as a great place to stay when you come to Rome. ##### Carol T.
