"Loretta's place!!"IS THE RIGHT CHOISE FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO FIND AN ALTERNATIVE TO A HOTEL WITH THE WARMTH OF A HOME!!
Cozy apartment (62square metres) in Ostia near to the airport of Fiumicino, just 20 minutes from the "heart"of Rome " and a few steps from the beaches .
"Loretta's place" is a welcoming private apartment recently renovated, located in the seaside district of Ostia Lido. The apartment accommodates 4 people and is suitable for both long and short stays.The house is on the 4th floor and it's very sunny, functional and quiet, equipped with every comfort with 2 bedrooms for 4 people, living room, bathroom with shower, a fully equiped kitchen with gas cooker, oven, fridge and microwave. The house is in an ideal location: 7 km from the airport of Fiumicino, just 300 meters from the sea and it is well connected to Rome by train from Lido Centro station or from Lido Nord station. The new FAIR OF ROME, venue of exhibitions and conferences (NUOVA FIERA DI ROMA) is just 20 minutes from the apartment. The beautiful Palazzetto PalaPellicone (Pala FIJLKAM) created specifically for meetings and fighting events, is located 5 minutes by car from the apartment. On demand guest have at their disposal a baby cot (up to 2/3 years)a high chair and a baby stroller. Large condominium garden . Rates are inclusive of consumption. FREE UNLIMITED WIFI. Check in from 14:00 to 21:30 - Check out within 10:00am.

Court séjour très agréable... presque aux portes de Rome!

Loretta est fort sympathique et son appartement nous a permis de passer trois nuits calmes dans un cadre agréable, avec des commerces et des transports en commun à proximité pour se ravitailler ou aller rejoindre la gare ferroviaire de Lido Centro qui nous emmène au centre de Rome en 30 minutes environ. Le front de mer est à quelques minutes à pied et notre hôte, qui parle très bien français, nous a judicieusement conseillés en direct puis par what's app ('wi-fi appréciable sur place) concernant des aspects pratiques... mention spéciale pour la pizza géante (60cm de diamètre!) de "il campione" et pleins de souvenirs à deux de cette escapade italienne. Le logement comme la propriétaire nous ont parfaitement convenus et nous reviendrons avec plaisir si l'occasion se présente (merci encore Loretta pour nous avoir accueilli et raccompagné à la gare routière gracieusement pour nous permettre de rejoindre la navette de l'aéroport: on te laisse un parapluie en souvenir, mais il est vrai qu'habituellement on n'en aurait guère eu besoin à Lido di Ostia).

Tout d'abord un grand merci à Loretta la propriétaire pour son accueil et sa grande sympathie et ses bons conseils. L'appartement est génial et bien équipé, très agréable de manger dans l'espace véranda. La literie très bonne pour l'ensemble des lits. Le quartier est calme. Il y a un supermarché en face de l'immeuble et pleins de petits commerces aux alentours (souvent moins cher qu'en France). La gare est à proximité ainsi que la plage.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Loretta‘s apartment. It was very spacious and we loved the terrace. The location was good about a 10 minute walk to the beach and about 20 minutes to an area where there are lots of restaurants and bars. That’s fine for us because we enjoy walking around The area where we are staying at. My only recommendation would be to PLEASE get a new mattress for the main bedroom. We could actually feel the springs and it was very uncomfortable for both our backs. You’re future guests will thank you

I loved Loretta’s place! It was a perfect location to take day trips to Rome, but enjoy a bit of the beach vibe on off days for relaxation! Perfect location across from Conad grocery store and just a few blocks to the beach. Loretta was so kind and helpful and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we need. She even was willing to call a taxi to take us to the airport for our next adventure.

From selecting the apartment to transportation instructions and meeting our Host, Loretta, everything was perfect. Loretta is a wondetful host ensuring that the apartment was cozy, comfortsble and clean. The transportation from FCO was via Cotral bus 1.50/person. Loretta meet us at the bus station and provided a ride to the apartment, she reviewed the apartment and made sure we had no questions. There is a small grocery store across the street should it be needed. Loretta made several restaurant suggestions that were delicious, all in all an excellent stay, would stay again without reservation

Communication and check in was very easy. Loretta was super nice and informative. We only needed one night for a layover in Rome and gave us time to walk around an area of Italy we've never seen beore. It was easy to get taxi to and from airport.

Great Apartment

Our sweet host Ms. Loretta met us at the apartment and gave us all the instructions we needed for our stay. She communicated with us in English as we are from the US and not fluent in Italian. Her place had everything we needed for our stay. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and cafés. The Conad Supermarket was directly across the street. We shopped there several times for snacks and water. She checked on us several times throughout our stay making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The apartment was a 15 min taxi drive from Fumicino airport, and about a 40 min drive into Rome. We never attempted public transport but she explained that it was easy to navigate. Per her suggestion, we visited Ostia Antica Ruins that was about 10/15 min drive and we're so glad we did. Very cool place to experience. All in all this was the perfect accommodation and location for our family of 4.

A Brief Stay at Lorettas Place

We did two overnight stays at Lorettas place after flying in and out of the airport. The apartment is clean and reasonably priced and Loretta is a wonderful host. Getting to the apartment, which is very close to the airport, is a bit of a maze as the roads are not direct. The ancient ruins are excellent.

Loretta was endlessly accommodating and a great communicator. Her place was exactly as described and very clean and updated. The beds were comfortable and the sheets delightful. We had to rush out to catch an earlier train, so hopefully we didn’t leave a mess anywhere or leave things behind.

Wonderful Stay in Ostia

Loretta’s apartment was perfect for our anniversary trip. We took a taxi from the Rome airport for 75. Loretta was gracious enough to book us taxis for each tour day that started at 6am. The apartment was perfectly situated across from a grocery store and just minutes from the sea front restaurants. Thank you so much Loretta for such a memorable trip!

The perfect stay!

First of all, Loretta is the sweetest! All communication made us feel like she was so excited to have us. She made sure we had everything we needed prior to arriving, even offered to pick us up from the train station (which we ended up not needing). Her place was so cute, clean, and had everything we needed. It was a short 4 minute walk to the beach, a 1 minute walk to the bus station where you're able to take the train and then the subway very easily into Rome. She arranged for a taxi to pick us up 2 separate times - 1 when we had to be at the Vatican for a tour at 7:30 AM and the day we left for the airport. You will not be disappointed if you stay with Lorretta! If we're ever back in the area, we will definitely be staying at her place.

Apartment ok, Umgebung sehr dreckig

Mit dem Apartment waren wir größtenteils zufrieden. Allerdings war das Mobiliar etwas veraltet, teilweise waren die Schubladen defekt. Im Bad könnte das Silikon in der Dusche erneuert werden. Loretta war total lieb und nett. Wir durften sehr spät am Abend noch einchecken, weil unser Flug so spät ankam. Die Umgebung war leider sehr dreckig. Sehr viel Müll auf den Wegen und Straßen, es roch an jeder Ecke nach Urin und/oder Hundekot. Wir waren schon in vielen Orten in Südeuropa (und weltweit) zu Besuch, aber derartige Zustände sind uns kaum begegnet. Zwischenzeitlich hatten wir sogar überlegt vorzeitig abzureisen. Wir sind uns bewusst, dass Loretta persönlich dafür nichts kann. Sie hat sich für die Zustände entschuldigt. Die öffentlichen Strandabschnitte in der Nähe sind leider auch ziemlich dreckig (Müll, alte Zigaretten, keine sanitären Anlagen wie Toilette und/oder Dusche), deshalb sollte man den Eintritt der Strandbäder bei seiner Urlaubsplanung berücksichtigen.

I would recommend this property to everyone

I would recommend this property to everyone. It is in a fabulous location near the trains buses and especially the ocean. The apartment was probably one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Loretta went out of her way to make sure that we had a taxi to take us to the airport on the day of departure which took a lot of stress off of us. she thought of everything to accommodate us. The apartment is bright and Homie. I cannot say enough about this property and the hostess. It is a diamond in the rough.

We selected this property mainly because it was less pricey than staying in Rome but with the bus and train it takes an hour + to get to Rome. Next time we would come to this area only with a car. Lido Di Ostia is a very residential area and other than the beach and some shopping, it does not have much to offer. Loretta was really nice and accommodating. Finding her appartement was not straightforward on apple maps, and she had forgotten her cell phone at home that day therefore she was unreachable Apartment was as advertised . Everything is old in Italy; the kitchen is narrow, the coffee maker (typical italian coffee) leaked and gave a small amount of coffee. But we were out most of the time so we didn’t use the kitchen a lot. Loretta gave us a recommendation of a really nice beach restaurant and we ate really well there. Overall good
